Changing the bolt pattern on my 92 f150 from 5x5,5 to 5x4,5 so can run a better wheel selection #bolt #f150 #wheels #redring #shoplife #tools #racetrack #helpful
I have done this before by hand with a hand drill. All i did was buy a wheel spacer with the bolt pattern i wanted and put a hub centric spacer ring to make the spacer fit perfect over the hub. Then center punched all the holes. Then drilled and tapped them. And bought wheel bolts instead of studs. Super easy. Diy
@@desifrazier121 I’m not sure I had a few people ask for other sizes try googling the name on the tool I bought it about 8 years ago Rottenleonard.com think I found him on jalopy page
Yes it you could it just needs to have a way for the stud to sit straight with out doing something the stud will always be pulling at a angle hope that helps

To get a flat surface on the backside, I use a counterbore with an alignment pin and just clean up the surface. Works best with a drill press.
I want to do the opposite 5x4.5 to 5x5.5 to put f150 wheels on a ranger good video
Thanks for sharing this.
Been thinking about buying one. Seems to work very good. Thanks again you got my sub. Take it easy👍
I just tap the holes and use screw in studs with thread lock. Work's perfect.
That was a thought i had at one point as well

Could you just grind a small bevel on the stud seating surface where the radius on the rotor interferes with it going all the way down?
