    Impressive work bringing Tony’s arrangement to us. Thank you so much. I won’t learn the whole piece but will learn some of his unique approaches.

    You are awesome Chris! Thanks for sharing your talent! I saw him in Charlottesville,Va a long time ago when he just started playing Shenandoah live. I was about 8 feet away from him. He played a slow version Mr. PC (John Coltrane) as the intro to Shenandoah. I was amazed and in awe as usual when I got to see him play live. Thanks again for your wonderful music!

    A few years ago I messaged you on Patreon and asked about your guitar. I had noted how great It sounded and was blown away to find it was a Martin Sigma. Guitars of any make can sound great. The sound is everything and you and your Sigma are the BOMB!

    So beautiful. You inspired me to join on patreon. I've learned the happy Traum version and a version by Trampled By Turtles (great with singers) m. I first heard it with a version and Bill Frisell which I also one hope to has a version I hope one day to learn. Then there's Keith Jarret's version, which I won't be playing until I learn piano lol. What a deep well for such a simple tune.

      No It’s a beater Dan - made in Korea - so the sides and back of the guitar are a jpeg - these were made for a laugh - they ran from 84 to 94 in Korea then moved to Taiwan after - think squire strat

    Really nice work here. Are your strings as low as they appear to be? Do you happen to know the height of the strings at say the 12th fret? IF so, did you measure that with the string depressed at the first fret, or not? Thank you for any setup info you may provide

    • @chrisbrennanguitar
      @chrisbrennanguitar  Před 6 dny

      It’s low Rick - I acquired the guitar in 2016 and have played it like I received it ever since - I’ll try and measure that height
