You are awesome Chris! Thanks for sharing your talent! I saw him in Charlottesville,Va a long time ago when he just started playing Shenandoah live. I was about 8 feet away from him. He played a slow version Mr. PC (John Coltrane) as the intro to Shenandoah. I was amazed and in awe as usual when I got to see him play live. Thanks again for your wonderful music!
Amazin!! Thanks for that great story! So many versions we won’t hear! Your lucky to have seen that - amazing too how he put those two tunes together
- please watch out for part 2 buddy!!! Thankyou

A few years ago I messaged you on Patreon and asked about your guitar. I had noted how great It sounded and was blown away to find it was a Martin Sigma. Guitars of any make can sound great. The sound is everything and you and your Sigma are the BOMB!
I played a martin d28 in a shop for the first time this year and it was mind blowin!!! No harm to my sigma lol - chief, Thankyou so very much !!! And I hope you enjoy the rest!!!!
Thanks Chris bless up
Watch out for the rest !!! Thanks alot for gettin it!!!!!
So much meat and fiber to digest in this lesson! I love how you said that each one of these compositions can come with its own instructional book.
Seriously Jason - they are packed with details on every move - andlit of thinkin and construction went in - but I’ll cover it anyway - see ya tamarra!!
So beautiful. You inspired me to join on patreon. I've learned the happy Traum version and a version by Trampled By Turtles (great with singers) m. I first heard it with a version and Bill Frisell which I also one hope to has a version I hope one day to learn. Then there's Keith Jarret's version, which I won't be playing until I learn piano lol. What a deep well for such a simple tune.
Learnin piano too? Excellent - love piano - thanks for joinin on patreon buddy!!! Part 2 hopefully next week !
Heck. Yes. Thanks.
Cheerzzz chiefffffffff!!!!!!

So much attention to the little details! Love these breakdowns. I'm especially excited about this one because I tried learning it a while back. This will show me all the things I missed!
Hey David!! Then you’ll like what’s coming - the rest of the tune yes, but I might put in some of the variations from various live performances
great as always Chris!!
Appreciated bud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome, Chris!!!
Just fantastic and so much to take in!!
Love it man!
That’s got to be a early 70s- early 80s Sigma?
They are brilliant guitars!
In America they are highly regarded and collected!
Thanks!
No It’s a beater Dan - made in Korea - so the sides and back of the guitar are a jpeg - these were made for a laugh - they ran from 84 to 94 in Korea then moved to Taiwan after - think squire strat

You could make any guitar sound incredible! It could be at the bottom of the Sea for a year and you could play it make it sound like it was just made !! You are such an inspiration, Cris.!!!
❤
Cheerz Greek dawg!!
Really nice work here. Are your strings as low as they appear to be? Do you happen to know the height of the strings at say the 12th fret? IF so, did you measure that with the string depressed at the first fret, or not? Thank you for any setup info you may provide
It’s low Rick - I acquired the guitar in 2016 and have played it like I received it ever since - I’ll try and measure that height
