  • WEST HAM TO LOSE KUDUS THIS SUMMER? | RELEASE CLAUSE EXPLAINED | PREMIER LEAGUE FFP IMPACT
Are there dark clouds looming over our 2024 summer transfer window business?
With a release clause revealed in Mohammed Kudus' contract, might he also leave West Ham as well as Lucas Paqueta?
On top of that, what do the new Premier League FFP rules mean for West Ham? Are we to be restricted in how much we can spend? Will that affect our ability to rebuild the squad?

We aren't GUARANTEED to have Kudus with us next season Stel. A release clause activation date doesn't prevent anyone coming in with a normal bid. It's then up to WHU whether we accept it or not (hopefully not). But Bowen is the one that concerns me most in terms of desirability for other clubs. I'm thinking that he's become rooted in the Dier family though :)

Good point. If you re a top player rising up the game, like Kudus or Paqueta, you would be daft to agree to a contract that ties you to a non Champions League team for any longer than is necessary. Obviously you are ultimately trying to get a move to a bigger club, a bigger pay day, more acclaim and hopefully some major trophies.
