Hi, I'm Alexandra. I believe life can be both glorious, tricky and even painful.. which we all know. Beauty is a practice I have enjoyed from early childhood as a way to build my confidence in myself. Not just on "special" occasions, but in my every day life and decision making. On my CZcams channel I show you practical steps and psychology to understand and apply methods in all areas of beauty; inclding fashion, makeup, hairstyling and femininity, to help us evolve and transform into our personal visions. I believe when a girl feels good about herself, she can make better choices for herself in ALL areas of life. Welcome to my channel, I'm glad you found me.

I used to do eyeliner from the inner corner of my eye outward. I have hooded eyes so it made my eyes very heavy and was just off. I started doing outer corner eyeliner and only bring it in halfway above my pupil now.
We want the dermaplaning routine😄
The filler situation should definitely be acknowledged soon
What’s the color and number of that L’Oréal lipstick omg
Addiction to "improvements" where it is an endless scavenger hunt can leave you deformed.
Yes, it can. Thank you for the honesty and warning.
i came to say. worrying about the wrong makeup should not be the priority here
It’s giving hybrid of Lorry Hill and Nara Smith. The need to be so perfect and being obsessed with yourself. I used to see self love on here bc of her but not anymore woww
@@A.J.805Taking care of others, helping altruistically and contact with nature, helps to stop obsessing about oneself and stop being superficial when dealing with more transcendent issues.
@@A.J.805 Nara and her husband are living a DREAM life of their own creation.. Their children are gorgeous and thriving. We should aim higher than what the current culture is pushing. Far higher.
i think she overdid it with the cheek filler, she was so beautiful before. she still is now but something about her face throws me off
i’m sorry but she looks extremely weird
@@gaj30I agree, it’s somehow scary :((.
I know this comment will get hate but I have to say it. She's starting to look like Michael Jackson.
Its very "uncanney valley"
Whenever I see lips like that, I feel like they're about to burst. Who came up with such an absurd trend?
I never even thought about the dark eye makeup and big hair. Makes so much sense, Thank you!!
Yay! I’m happy you liked the video Judy❤️❤️❤️☺️
Omg seeing Judy here❤🎉
Not to be mean, but I wish naturally pretty people would stop with the fillers
Hate to say this but you need to mind ya business, and stop telling what to do and what not to do.😊
She's not injecting it in your face, stop projecting
There was Nothing wrong with her comment. She Just Said that she find her Beautiful and that its sad that Pretty people get fillers
@@Marydoeswitchythings there is, learn to be respectful kid
I just randomly watched this video, after long time not watching her, more than a year ago.. First thoughts that I had is she the same person I think she is? Because the face looks so different now. I remember her being more beautiful and natural.
Fillers ruin beauty more than any makeup mistake someone might make. Chasing perfection that doesn't exist...she cannot even close her mouth now.
ok she’s still hella pretty bro😂
Fillers don’t do that to you. Some people naturally have that. Don’t leave nasty comments if you’re ignorant
@@luckypiece6567 find 10 differences excercises must’ve been hard for you when you were kid if you cannot see that she looks like a blow up doll now. Read other comments, I’m not the only one who thinks so.
A more beautiful mouth than yours, based on how you choose to speak.
@@Mini-Toast_ yes, beacause how she looks has anything to do with my way of talking. You gotta love the logic of blind fans.
Happy to see your natural hair color, it looks lovely on you
I would love a video about dermaplaining (getting rid of peach fuzz) - specifically how to prep for it, how to do it around skin problems (acne, dry patches, etc) and the best technique.
Thank you for this video, I love your focus on technique, and not products ❤❤❤
also the after care, and what ingredients in products are important for this, pleaase
I shave my face almost every night. Just a quick once over. My skin looks better then ever. I use tons of calamine lotion. After the shower I cover my entire neck chest and face in it and wash it off in the am. Beautiful skin! Lol! 🤷♀️ I even use it as a light primer under my foundation!
Yessss she has a video on threading i think
@@tula1433I'm not trying to be rude, just some basic fyi, You shouldnt do it more than once per week, because it removes the top layer of your skin, like a chemical peel. Your skin needs time to recover, and can get quite damaged if you dermaplane too often. I do it once per week/ week and a half and take care to hydrate my skin well in between sessions.
As I said, just an fyi, you do you lovely.
Just be careful if you have a hormonal problem so you don't end up making it worse.
The big hair big eye makeup tipp is something I never heard before and I love it! Thank you!
Same!! Definitely an aha moment for me. We all have those nights where we spend an hour plus getting ready and then for some reason the end look just isn’t quite right and you don’t know why. It’s not like you’ve done anything super different in terms of colors or styles, it’s all stuff you’ve worn and liked before. This is a potential reason for sure- hair and makeup out of balance with each other
I always thought you were outstandingly naturally beautiful, like a true rare beauty that had almost everything people nowadays try to achieve through plastic surgery, fillers etc. I just don’t understand why someone that blessed and would ALSO end up following this ‘trend’ which, again, is mainly used by people that WANT what you HAD. This is not meant as an insult, more curiosity because for the life of me I don’t get why you would destroy your beauty like that with these horrendous (overdone) fillers… maybe you will do a video on that one day?
I agree, I don’t know her personally, but this genuinely made me sad.
They are all insecure children.
I agree, I have been watching her for since she started her CZcams page. When I saw her videos, I was confused. She is beautiful, girl I hope you read this, you are gorgeous. Out of curiosity, what made you change or enchance? I wish they could see what we see! 😊
I never usually comment, but you’re so right, it’s beyond me how someone as smart as she looked can make changes to their faces when you were breathtaking before I just can’t believe it, it’s like looking at a different person, when I used to watch her videos I actually thought to myself this woman looks like a goddess, yes she might not be the most beautiful woman on earth I get it but if I was a man I would think she’s hands down perfect and now look, I hope it’s reversible
You are so rude. This is why people delete their channels. Take your hate and entitledness and get off the internet. Grow some empathy and try to remember that this is a real person!
Oh my god what the heck has she done to her face? She was so naturally stunning, its sad to think she couldn’t see that 😢
Alexandra IMO you have the most unique beauty channel on CZcams. I personally am always enlightened by what you share, and the visuals you provide are so effective and pleasing to the eye. Thank you!
You should do a whole video about how eye makeup relates to hair. I've always noticed it for myself and thought I was being too nitpicky
When I say I am genuinely scared and saddened by your altered features. A huge loss to sincere beauty.
Baby girl you didn’t need the fillers, you have always looked good
What's the point of this comment? It obviously won't make her feel better, just worse. Ew attitude.
I was wondering the same. Her lips were always full and naturally beautiful. It seems a lot of girls that already look good keep wanting to ‘improve’ their look. However, it typically comes out looking like too much. 😢
@@7kraska It won’t bc that’s the result she wanted.
@@7kraskaWhen I overfilled my lips, my aunt was the ONLY person willing to tell me I looked ridiculous. So glad she prioritized truth over my feelings.
yes, I was shocked after not seeing her for maybe a few years 😱
This comment section is disheartening. I’ve been watching you ever since I was a teenager and now I’m gonna be 25, and still after all these years you put out quality, detail oriented content. I appreciate you and don’t listen to these people. Ones judgement is just a criticism they have deeply within themselves. You’re awesome and thank you!
What-.. what has happened to her face..? Something looks off.
I thought I was the only one! Couldnt tell who she was for a brief sec
Did smth to her lips I think
Came to look for this comment, feels like she’s put some filler in her face?
she re touched her lips and nose, and her nose now looks uneven, the nose one is not just fillers, she did something now her nostrills look to wide and one is lower than the other...while her lips are so big they don't even close.
@@user-jb5my7ly5f Jesus christ. She used to be so beautiful. :/ She gives me Michael Jackson vibes now.
The big hair and makeup combo is perfectly depicted in the series The Nanny.
im so sad you look like a blow up doll now, i really admired your natural beauty
I know rightt 😢
She was already a natural beauty 😢 Whatever work she's done detracts from her natural features and just doesn't look right 😢
@@ItsRuthieMicaelait is sad.
I didn’t even recognize her 💔
Is this comment necessary?
I’ve been obsessed with your videos smmm, and I love how you actually give good tips instead of just recommending new products n stuff. Such a life saver fr!! 💗
She’s really good at catching things like the smokey eye and hair connection🥹🩷 Loved the video
Why did you change your face so much you were so beautiful
She was indeed and she still is and we never know what the person is going through so how about not judge them only form the outside since people change due to cha yes and desires from the inside
Great video, but I think peach fuzz can be a look. Marilyn Monroe famously kept hers because she thought it gave a blurred effect with the makeup. Plus shaving your face can cause breakouts in some people and make it more sensitive. Personally I do it because I like to have a glass skin look. But I wouldn’t say keeping peach fuzz is a mistake.
ooh i didn't know about the marilyn monroe fact, thanks for sharing!
Wow, that actually makes sense
Thank you, I have tried dermaplaning twice and both times my face was spotlessly clean and I used a brand new razor… but I still broke out horribly and had ingrown facial hairs for weeks after
I thought of Marilyn Monroe also when talking about shaving, yeah she wanted to keep hers yes, but she meant it looked good in pictures and films , it was fifty`s so taking photos has changed improved also, but I don`t know, each their own I guess. I am interested about this shaving technique . Never tried it..
The last tip cleared something to me. My hair is naturally voluminous and when I started switching my eyeshadow from colors to black, it looked so much pleasing on me and I didn't know why. Now I know so thank you❤
I truly have missed your in-depth explanations and insights 🥹💗 please do more of these, I adore your videos!
Interestingly i never thought about the metallic contrast until recently I got a new pair of glasses which are metallic and noticed I only like them when my make up is perfect, whereas I have other glasses I like wearing even when I have no make up on at all, because they suit my skin tone. I never thought about the contrast between the metallic tones against my skin! Thank you for the explanation it makes so much sense now ❤
Your videos are the most sweet and authentic I love how genuine and away from bs you are!
When you mentioned the price of dermaplaining my jaw dropped. I do it myself and it's easy. I also exfoliate with 2% salycilic acid. I find that doing makeup while constantly holding a mirror always results in something going wrong ( usually assimetrical makeup).
I've tried dermaplaning myself and have gotten it done professionally many many times and every single time, I've broken out. My skin barrier just can't handle it. If your skin is like mine, I'd recommend bleaching the peach fuzz instead if you want it to look less prominent. I just use a facial hair bleach and keep it on for 15 minutes. It turns the peach fuzz light and less noticeable. You don't have to do this of course, and in the grand scheme of things, people aren't going to notice your peach fuzz because no one is looking at your face that close up, so don't feel like you have to get rid of completely normal parts of your face ❤️
Mine is pretty light so I don’t feel like I would want to get rid of it. Also it’s a natural protectant against the sun(I still apply spf everyday). I just clean up my brows and my upper lip but I don’t touch anything else and my makeup comes out pretty good
I've had breakouts from it too, but only the first couple of times I've done it. In the meantime I also started doing at-home IPL (Ulike) and I've been doing it on my face too. Not sure if it's just the IPL or the products I'm using (started using some new ones recently), but my skin is looking better than ever. IPL is supposed to help with acne and acne scars too, and I'm def seeing an improvement. Don't know if it's gonna help get rid of the peach fuzz entirely, because there isn't a lot of contrast between the peach fuzz and my skin tone, but it has definitely reduced it. My skin is generally sensitive to shaving and waxing, so I've had to depilate for years now, and IPL has been a life changer for me.
@@aleksandraanya9559 I know IPL has helped people for sure! It’s unfortunate that they don’t make a lot of options for darker skin tones, who are the ones usually suffering with visible dark hair on their faces.
@@aleksandraanya9559How do you like your Ulike? I’ve been debating whether to invest in it or not. My skin is just too sensitive for dermaplaning, sadly. And I spend so much time plucking. 😢 I just don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that won’t work.
The different sets of nails let’s me know you filed this video over a long time, thank you for the dedication 🥰 I feel like I rarely see this level of attention in videos these days.. great video!!!
Please do a video about dermaplaining! I would love to know how to prep for it and the best technique and the after care!
I've been loving the more regular uploads recently! Thank you for your videos 💖
Ohh, I did not recognise her.
Out of everyone I’ve ever watched throughout the years, your tips have always been most helpful to me ever since I was a teenager. I don’t have an older sister and I no longer have my mom here with me to advise me on beauty stuff like she used to, so your videos continue to help me even now in my 20s. Thank you so much for that and for all the great content you continue to create❤️
My condolences for your mom ❤️🩹 sending you hugs
❤ You’re not alone in this gratitude!
Everything makes so much sense!
And Thankyou for not using filters Thankyou
Alexandra, I am so sorry, you dedicated so much time in trying to teach us how to exude lady like energy, but so much people don't seem to have been listening.
You are smart (above anything else), beautiful, and most certainly, a million more things that we can't see online. Thank you for your videos, they help me since my teens years.
Keep it up, angel ❤
Your hair is so gorgeous!!! It reminds me of Farah Fawcett! The makeup is everything, and the tips are so helpful. I'm just starting to use makeup, and I've been loving your content!
Thank you so much 🩷🩷🩷 welcome to my channel!!
What could be better than watching your video after a stressful day)))))
I love the dark hair on you Alexandra!! It just looks so elegant and natural on you!!💖
One of my favorite recent videos of yours. Love this. Could you maybe make a video about dressing for your body type? Thoughts on the Kibbe system? ❤
YES derma-planing tutorial video would be so helpful!! please!!
your tips are always always one of a kind! you have a really intricate understanding of aesthetics... thank you ! 💘
I'm glad to see your videos! Thank you for your work! You inspire me to love and take care of myself! It's wonderful!♥
Alexandra, thank you for another thought out and detailed video. Please ignore the “you don’t look good” or “I’m worried about you” comments. We appreciate you putting out this content. Thank you also for focusing on technique rather than pushing products. You’re glowing❤️
It's so mean, plus if you sprt her videos by oldest she looks how she has always looked honestly. She always has had lips that size and I think the lips are making people think she's over done, but her lips are naturally like that, and her skin and face look the same as always, I really think she only got some subtle natural tweaks, as any of us would if we could afford it. The comments act like they're saying it cuz they're worried and care about her but all it is is kinda mean, it's like when you don't wear makeup and someone asks if you're ok or if you're sick 🤦♀️ makes it seem like they care but obvi if i werent ok or sick Id tell you, and now you just feel bad about how you look
@@Ella-kn9qd EXACTLY. She’s always looked this way. If she gets any work done, it’s so subtle and also nobody’s business. She sounds great, she looks healthy and her content is the same quality (just maybe shorter videos). People act like they know her and what she does in her personal life. It doesn’t come off as genuine, it doesn’t come off as caring, it’s very judgmental. That no makeup example you gave was perfect because that’s how it feels. It’s insulting. She looks beautiful and I’m sure those comments hurt her in some way.
@@Ella-kn9qd Exactly. She always had that nose and lips. I think its her eyebrow shape and contacts that are different
I agree! People commenting on how she should go back to thicker brows are so annoying too. That’s her style, leave her alone!
you always manage to come up with tips that I've never heard before, it's amazing I love your vids so much ! 🌸
Exactly 💯
This video is fantastic, I love how detailed and honest and transparent it is. Great work. We need more of this 💖
she was extremely beautiful...i subscribed her because of her extremely feminine beauty...she was not need any kind of filler or surgery...btw her content is worth it
the eyeshadow tip was exactly the kind of content im looking for personally! when it comes to the beauty of the face the overall impression is what matters, which means balance is of the essence! though i guess you can apply this framework to the whole body of course ❤
girl i’m obsessed with this video 💖🎀✨
So interesting!! pls cover more of these types of mistakes. Not a lot of CZcamsrs are covering this type of makeup mistake! Thanks!
I love makeup mistake videos too!
Yes to the dermaplaining video.
Your videos are always great and informative.
Thank you.
Absolutely loved all the tips
Alexandra! you look like an absolute doll !😻 thank you for these tips, your content is always helpful 💗
This video popped up in my CZcams feed and I am SO glad it did! The tip about hair volume/style and eye makeup is brilliant! 🙌 As a makeup and beauty junkie, I am always looking for new tips and tricks and these did not disappoint! The savviness and intelligence you displayed in this video has made me a subscriber! 😄💕 Can't wait to binge-watch all your content now!
Yes to the dermaplaining video! And I love your voluminous hair, a video about the basics of hair curling and controlling volume would be great because I have no idea how to start.
U are already beautiful before the surgery.
omg I remember watching ur jeans video like 5 years ago it literally saved me
I like that you really think outside the square and give advice that other youtubers don't. And if you are showing something that is commonly spoken about your really explain it more thoroughly than all other youtubers. Your so elegant and well spoken. Very classy!
Your videos are so beautifully made! ❤️
We love you too sis!
Great tips. Especially about dry skin and peach fuzz. Thanks!🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
I have very fair olive skin so for the most part, I've given up on foundation and stick to bronzer and blush to add a little dimension.
It's a struggle for sure! I tend to get the green shade of the Nyx liquid concealer and add a bit of that to my foundation.
I also add it to my cream contour (using my hand as a palette, then I just stamp it on wherever I need it and blend). Gives a more cool-toned natural contour colour!
Overpowdering 😭 but I have a really oily skin and sometimes simply have to do it, if it's hot outside and/or I have an event that'll last all day...
I'm into a full coverage look, so I wear concealer all over my face. I know some find it "heavy" but if you think about it, I need to use more foundation to get the same amount of coverage with less concealer. So I apply less product and it's not as slippery as foundation.
Very smart. I realized I looked better with light make up. After years of the 2000s Smokey eye I finally just switched to a simple wing and lips and blush. So much fresher.
That's really smart! I suppose the preference for foundation could be over practicity blending, then? Idk but I do a lot of concealer only base
I absolutely love this video! Your tips are doable and dont cost too much for the average person to add to their beauty routine :)) I also really appreciate that your „beauty hacks“ are very thoughtful and not just a repetition of current trends! Also Id love a video about shaving ones face at home :))
Alexandera,
Dark hair colors look so good on you.
Love the video! Such refreshing insights as usual
💛thank you so much!
I would love to see how you do face dermibladinig
Yes, these were helpful, especially the dark eyeshadow one.
that hair volumeeeeee girl you're a living doll
would you consider doing a video on Kibbe body type ? I don't think you've done one yet and I'd absolutely love to have your take on it ! 🎉
Kibbe really helped me. Always wondered why this loose baggy jeans and tee shirt modern look the girls wear didn’t look good on me. I’m a soft dramatic. We need glam. Lol
Omg same!!!! I kept trying to wear really oversize pants and coats and the effect was never what I expected 😂 then I realised I need more structure (still not sure 100% what type I am but definitely not a natural or romantic)
Can people in the comments stop giving their unsolicited opinions about her appearance? She doesn't owe us an explanation and doesn't owe us her older look. I know she looks different and if she wants she will tell us about it someday, but let's focus on the video's topics until then.
This was great Thankyou! ✨☺️
Awesome video! It would be great if you could talk about makeup mistakes to avoid with oily and combination skin!

Beautiful video! I have missed this!
Thank you for posting! I love your videos 😍 i was rewarching some of the old vids and i especially loved all your 'dress better' / "hair secrets" type videos. I am being pushy but have video requests if you ever need ideas.
- sorting through currently owned clothes - how do I know when an item has run it's course in my closet? How do I tell based on my current clothes what else I need?
- how u decide what you need clothing-wise / cosmetics wise (making a shopping list, what is just a current want vs something that will enrich my wardrobe)
- shop with me (talk through what goes through ur head when u r shopping or online shopping)
- how to try on clothes (what to look for fit-wise, how to see if it suits your wardrobe)
- basic but a "what's in my bag" lol.
What a beautiful comment thank you for your love and also for helping me with such detailed requests!!!

Excellent video, Alexandra! So informative. The eye makeup/hair combination was so eye-opening (pun intended, lol)! Love this format :)

You look beautiful. Thank you Andrea, I've learned so much from you. 😊❤
Amazing vid as always❤
I absolutely agree, especially with the dermaplaning part.. I started doing it recently and it literally makes the biggest difference. Ofcourse, the biggest thing in dermaplaning is aftercare, but if you do it right it is life changing in terms of skincare benefits or makeup.
Thank you so much for the tips. You look gorgeous btw.
