Minnesota to Ghana--Bridging an Ocean with Books and Handshakes

This is a documentary of a trip to Ghana focused on a school partnership being developed between the Minnetonka, MN, School District and rural schools in the Awutu Mankessim region of Ghana, Africa. It documents the January 2014 visit to Ghana by Clear Springs Elementary School Principal Curt Carpenter and teacher Delette Lemon.
Dr. Delore Zimmerman, Development Chief of Awutu-Mankessim, facilitated the Ghana trip.
Videographer and Producer of the documentary is Dean Schieve. The song "Mayo" is used with written permission from John St. John (Roland Hanneman), producer of the album "Afrika, Song of the Tribal Spirit."
