- Is the Squatter Back?! Three Guys in Camo were Seen Trespassing on the Property so it is Time to Mow this Overgrown Lawn for our Customer! We are back at the House with the Squatters. The game plan is to get the property cleaned up for our customer. Last time we faced squatters living in the house. Along with broken windows, trip wires, and a note left on the gate out front. How did it go this time???? Lets find out...
They need to get someone in that house. It won't keep someone from breaking in, but that would stop the squatters. Sad that this happens so often. Great job on the mowing!

Im a professional property caretaker. I can tell you from personal experience having someone living there is a definite deterrent for squatters! Squatters wont go near a place that has someone looking after it, and living onsite! 100% fact!

I love the Ventrac! Great job on getting this yard looking great Cameron! Now the squatters gotta go! Personally speaking, I feel that if the property owners don't want to live on the property, they should sell it, so someone else can live there & take care of it. Having a house sitter or renters living in the house doesn't guarantee anything of the house being taken care of & properly maintained; where as a homeowner has skin in the game & they want to take care of it, so they'll have a roof over their heads & the property can increase in value versus decreasing in value due to neglect.
The VENTRAC is awesome! I’m with you on this one. May be better off just to sell it and move on to something else. It’s a shame to have to do that, but that’s where we are nowadays. Thanks so much for watching!

Great job cleaning that forest up around that customers house. That Ventrac is by far one of your best investments. Now, them squatters are going to squat, motion censored cameras are nice and make sure they have voice controls with them to tell the squatters to get off their property. 😂😱
They actually have 2 way audio on them so you can listen in to the squatters that are trespassing. Pretty wild technology nowadays. The Ventrac is my favorite piece of equipment by far! I knocked out a pond bank today with it. Appreciate the support man. #GodProvides☝️

Beautiful property; too bad people can't take it and squat. I love watching the Ventrac videos, and I wish I had gotten into mowing up here in Canada. Maybe more steady work than software development.

Looks like a realy nice house. He could put alarm on the windows and doors. Also have lights who go on when somebody comes to close to the house.

I'd love to be the "house sitter" for this house. I have a relative that lives in Kansas. I would need the lawn taken care of and the utilities paid plus access to the internet. Basic furniture and someone to do a regular check on me. I'm an 80 yr old that still has a little adventure left in me, but I could keep a house clean and a squatter off the premises. Oh, well....not much chance of that happening at my age. 🤓😏

Good morning brother!!! I'll edit once I watch the video :) (EDIT) I remember them making those improvements but they certainly don't seem to be using the property. At the very least they need to pony up for more regular maintenance because that vacant look will invite more squatters. Looks so much better as usual. I wouldn’t let the squatters run me off. I also feel that trying to immediately sell the house because of squatters will be a big negative impact to its value. So, I’d lease it to someone with positive references and a clear background check. I’d decide later to keep or sell. And get a working security system, keep it mowed weekly because you’re just projecting that it’s vacant and squatter ready with the yard all overgrown, hedges untrimmed, and discarded junk on the back deck.
Lots of good points there! I would definitely keep the lawn mowed on a regular basis. It would be nice to see someone in there that could watch over it. Maybe for six months or a year. Then hopefully the squatters would move on. Appreciate you taking the time to watch!
I would get a couple of Doberman guard dogs 🐕 to stay in the house 🏠 squatters would have big surprise 😅😅
Dobermans are actually very sweet dogs. You can’t leave dogs on property without people there anyway.
If they don’t sell it, they need to keep it mowed and kept up all the time. I hate bars on windows, but I’d put them on this one. It would make sense to turn off the utilities if you’re not there.
It could be used as an air BNB. Then you’d have some people in and out and a cleaning service after each one left.

I’d rent it out, but that is a very large lot to expect a renter to mow, so someone or the landlord would have to keep it cut!

I would put an electric fence around the property, if anyone dares to climb it oh well! Our society has changed for the worse. People think they can be lazy and stay in other peoples homes. Things need to change. This homeowner has done whatever he can to keep his house safe. It would be a shame to sell because of selfish people. Great job as always. Yeah, it’s sad that he’s considering selling because of lazy ppl that can’t stay off of other people’s property. Wish ppl would respect others and their property, but those days are long gone. Sounds like a good opportunity for you. The reason I say that is because it could be some easy money for you to go check on this property weekly, and keep it maintained monthly. Heck, it even could be a good investment. I don't know what rent goes for in your area, but if the owner is thinking about getting rid of it, it could be bought for less and turned around and rented out. Just food for thought on your end. And as always the VENTRAC IS AWESOME!!!!
You would need to rent it out quickly if you bought it. First thing I would do is get an alarm set up with motion detection. You can catch them on camera, but I would want to get an officer out there if someone stepped onto the property. I have so much going on in the business, I can’t pick up anything else lol. I think that's a good idea. Do you have a lot of Airbnb in your area? Not a lot of properties here locally on Airbnb, but you never know!
Wish I could find someone in north central Missouri with a ventrac. I could use one twice a year or so for a pond bank…not enough use to justify buying one.

@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri I Just drove up to Minnesota and bought a cherry garage kept 4500P with with only 120 hours along with bucket and 72 inch blade. Now just need to decide which mower to go with - fast cut flail or tough cut - or both. I think I could get by with just the flail. Two years of growth on the pond bank and it’s tall and thick but no major tree sapling (yet). I could use the tough cut for edge of woods though for taking out red bud saplings.

Hey dude have you ever thought about X-bladeing your tough cut and try it for a season of course a flail mower would be much better cause with a flail mower if you hit or run over something you won't bend or break a spindle 💰💰🤔😊😊
It would be NICE to get the flail mower, but 💰. I’ve never tried the X blade. It would probably run too slow when trying to cut and process material. Appreciate you watching!

Whether he sells it or rents it, he needs someone in that house. Even if he has a family member or friend move in, I would suggest a lease, with lawn care by lease included as part of their rent, with maybe a low rent. Otherwise, whoever he has move in w/o a lease could become a squatter too! A vacant house is just an open invitation to squatters & drug dealers!
