Congrats on the 30k subscribers. Your channel is growing with leaps and bounds. Great content as usual is definitely the reason for the channel growth, Mike. Keep up the great work. Your explanation of how the job is done is far superior to a lot of similar channels. Hard work and no gimmicks is proving to make your channel a channel to look forward to.
Thanks Mike I really appreciate that!
Almost looks like he knows what he’s doing right 😂
@@joeyschannel3760 You think. Mike’s really talented at what he does and explains it very well. For someone young just starting out they should watch Mike’s (Dirt Boss) videos. It would be very educational.
I agree he knows what he’s doing I’m glad he kept dodge and didn’t buy a ford lol
The guy hauling the logs with an F350 is nuts 😂
Really enjoy watching your videos. Green job.
No doubt
I sincerely take my hat off to you squire. This is fascinating stuff. I would cry myself to sleep every night if I had to live on a mountain side.
Thank you
It's looking really good now. Lots and lots of stone.
Yes sir thanks
Dirt boss you can hear and see in you how much you love the work ,,kudos sir
Thanks Man
@@DIRT-BOSS inspiring to you young and old.
A complicated and expensive house build. Starting to take shape. Great job Dirt Boss Man.👍👍
Thanks buddy
Definitely like how it shows what it’s like to work on such hard ground! Belgian Trucking has enjoyed working with ya💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
It definitely does! Mountain Excavating is a whole different breed 💪🏼
Hello, "BIG GUY" and I knew I saw it before and now did a hunt for 'YOUR ?' new truck RAM (DUALLY) @ 21:52 (lookin real good!) Sonny
Lol thanks buddy.. I'll get a video of it soon
What a week you had, same here in Western Mass. Site is a little tight for everybody at once, don’t want anybody slipping off the edge!! Great job Mike, the place is shaping up 👍🇺🇸
Thanks buddy what part of MA
@@DIRT-BOSS Westfield, and forgot to say, didn’t think that little dump truck would make it out by it self 😂
That F350 load of logs stole the show today! Haha
Good job loading it carefully.
It sure did That was some load he put on there It was tough cuz he wasn't square to me
Was getting worried hadn't seen yeah in a while...Glad to see yeah "Back On-Site" Great job
All good here man
Boss, that log hauler was a bit sketchy… overload, under powered and sitting sideways on the mountain. My guess is that youth and feeling bulletproof might have had something to do with it…
Glad you got your squeak fixed! I had a problem with my backhoe seat that bugged me for a couple of years. The seat swivels and serves as both tractor and backhoe seats.
Because I had traded for a newer version of the same tractor, I knew how the seat was supposed to work. But, on this tractor the seat wouldn’t latch when I popped it into the backhoe position. I had to manually press the latch bar to secure it.
Because I had 12 years of experience with the old one latching every time, I constantly forgot to do so. I’ve had it for almost 3 years and still aren’t used to it.
A couple of weeks ago, I was digging post holes for my neighbor. When I backed up to position it for the first hole I forgot to latch it. As I climbed onto the hoe, I grabbed the seat and it flipped back. I looked down at just the right moment to see a bolt head sticking up under the latch. It was loose. The head stuck up just enough to hit the seat lock bar before it embedded in the latch… two turns with a Crescent wrench and the seat operated just like the old one did.
Was it one of those rare Kubota factory oversights? Nope… the dealer had backed the screw out to get clearance when they were routing my optional 3rd function valve… and had not tightened it all the way down afterward.
Those Kubotas are well made… if you just know what you are doing!
Watching you run sideways on that slope … I kept saying, “Don’t throw a track. Don’t throw a track.” That job site is getting safer everyday.
I hear you there buddy! Yeah the Kubota does impress me..
I'm glad that you didn't take a wild ride down the mountain. I know you must have thought about that a few times with that sloughing wet dirt.
Oh yeah
Plenty there to keep you out of trouble Mike, well there was !!!!
You had plenty of jobs to do here, chainsaw guy was getting the most out the way in one load, not sure if it was entirely legal though 🤔 you just did as you were asked !!
Backfill won't move anywhere in a hurry, compaction spot on Boss !! 💪💪💪
So true!
Man ! That doesn't look anything like when you first started. It was a cliff with water coming out of it,now look. Fantastic!
Thanks man
Great video Mike. The results of what you have done is going to be beautiful. Have a great day Brother.
Thanks buddy
Getting closer looks good lots of stone
920 tons!!!
That’s a lot 💰💰👍

@@DIRT-BOSS Listen, for me, YOU & beautiful Mrs. DB have been close family for me and your WORK cannot be topped! SO, thanks guys!
Another great stage done 👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks Mike
Nicey nicey! Would love to see the finished house.
That little old dump truck better have good brakes lol.
You're not kidding that was crazy
Wow. Great work. Came together very well
Thanks
Ran excavators and dozers On and Off for many years and watched this series from start to finish, you have more vision than I ever did, much respect Sir 👍😎 The land around here is flat enough to watch your Dog run away for 2 days, working off a Mountain side is a whole new game. If I were a betting man, the F250 would have never made it out, Luck was on his side.
Thanks buddy I appreciate that
Glad to hear Mother Nature cooperated with you on this one!!! A true blessing!!!! Mike it came out amazing looking!!!!!! But I expected nothing less!!! Have a very merry Christmas 🎄 and a happy new year 🎆 say the same to Max and your awesome two girls!!!!! See you in the next video!!!!!!!!!
Thanks buddy You too
Just thinking about you last night on this site. Then BAM here you are with another new one! Thank you and glad to see spray on tar. Used to be 5 gallon buckets and lots of brushing. Hey, "what 100 foot drop"? Can't tell from here although I did see you drive past it! When you're in FRONT, watch that FIRST STEP - PLEASE! Whole job is really shaping up and glad the weather held back! Stay safe & Thank You!!! Sonny
Thanks buddy
Man that’s a tight area to work! Would hate to roll down that backside!
You're not kidding it's steep crazy!!
This has been an awesome series great video showing thank you keep up the good work
More to come thank you
OKS !! Looking great so far !! Just be careful on the ledge side of the foundation ! Have good holidays & ""KEEP IT SAFE ""!!
Thanks man You too
Looking good 👍
Thanks buddy
That sewer tie in 😳😳😳😳🤦♂️ so deep
Ridiculous
I just LOVE the sound of stone from rip rap to fine gravel.. I would have loved working in a stone quarry
It is definitely relaxing
Looking gooooood 👍🍺
Thanks
Nice job many twists and turns on this one job. Many delays due to weather and other problems. I hope you came out in the black and realize why many contractors avoid these kinds of jobs. 👍 One other thing change orders are must on jobs like this.
Yes indeed if it wasn't for change orders we would have went bust
Saweet
Thanks
Excellent work brotha!
Thanks Steve
Awesome explanation mike, congratulations on 30k, foundation went up quick, completely different work site now, house is gonna be awesome, the view is insane, look forward to seeing your next video bud 💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yes the view is awesome
Looking good DB 👌🤘🤘
Thanks
Interesting explanation re the compaction around the walls etc thanks
You're welcome thanks
Lookin good, was waiting on that mason dump to fold in half with those logs. Be cool to know after all done how many tons of stone you had trucked in for the whole job.
46 trucks 920 tons
Another awesome video! Is it just me or does seem like the Bobcat never was able to grab a full bucket of dirt.
You're 100% correct!
Nice work Mike! I have an excavation company down in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess. I'm impressed with your work and being the "One Man Band". You get alot of work done. My wife and I have property in Greenville and we went up to Windham today by your site hoping to see you and say "BACK ON SITE". We both watch your videos and she hits me with back on site when she gets home every once in awhile. Keep up the good work thanks for the videos.
Ed that's awesome I wish I was there to meet you guys!
Wow… that’s a lot of stone you guys have trucked in!!! We’re doing the “final grade” at my personal house build on Monday and here I am cringing at the cost of like 5-6 tandems of gravel we’re gonna need to finish up the driveway sub-base so we can drop lumber next week. Then you have dirt boss’s client over here throwing out bills on stone like it’s candy 🤣😂🤣
I know 920 tons!! 46 trucks
Im always impressed with what Andrew gets up to but your work is without a doubt professional in all aspects👍🏻 keep them coming I enjoy learning from you 🤟🏻
Thanks man I really appreciate that
What a house!... love that area. Great Job Mike!
Thanks Dave
Nice job 👍👍👍
Thanks bud
It is awesome job Mike, Merry Christmas my friend to you and your family take care stay safe and god bless
Thanks Don You too
Appreciate the order and efficiency in which you work. But I think not near as much as the trades that follow. It makes their jobs much easier not having to drag tools and materials over obstacles and through mud.
You are correct if you're going to be good you got to do good things!
Look at all that stone from Peckems
Lots of stone
Awesome video as always and great work!!!
Thanks man
🔥🔥🔥 LOVIN THIS SERIES MY BROTHER 💪🏻👍
Thanks Buddy I like your new channel style! 💪🏼
Great sharing
Yes sir
Excellent job!!👍💪
Thanks
Whoaaaaaaa!!!! It has to feel great being back filled mostly,,,,,,,. As you go the site gets more and more safe for everyone involved. You seem to have a need to do things right as we all know, but it’s evident you care about the entire crew, no matter if they are working for you or with you!!! Excellent. This seemed like a disaster waiting to happen at the beginning, not saying it was wrong, but I don’t have experience with building on a ridge with this material. It’s now very clear that you can build almost anywhere with the right engineer/s a great foundation and a contractor that can see that in a hill of dirt and bring it to fruition!! Well done!!
This looks like it will be a gorgeous home in the end with an awesome view!
You're absolutely correct Thanks buddy
Not gonna lie, I was shocked that F350 pulled out without help.
Yes indeed that ground was wicked soft
Nobody took you up because your (The Dirt Boss)!
I would say you're 100% correct 😁
I could live for years off of the cost of that stone and gravel Lol ! I would imagine it’s a little less expensive than it is around here. Our granite is trucked in from hours away or brought in by rail.
It’s coming along. Almost there !
Yes indeed
Site looks awesome Great job Mike How about the people across the street Million dollar view one day View of a new house the next Thanks for sharing 👍
I haven't seen one person living in any of these houses on the mountain yet they come and go a couple days a year there vacation homes... Crazy
👍🏻
💯
Dirt Boss School
Yes sir thanks
What is that bump out room off the back wall that’s filled with gravel?
Brother y’all better get bigger buckets or more skid steer Santa fixing to be on his way
I hear that All I got is utilities left easy peasy
👍👍👍
💯
I got to know the final cost on all that gravel in this lot! 🤔
It doesn't make "cents" to talk dollars on your channel!
nice work my man, alot of stone for sure.i am assuming there must be municipal water and sewer they are going to hook to?there is no way there is room for anything else?keep chugging along,i finished my last dig project till spring last week, time for me to put the snow removal stuff on my equipment .
I hear that man!
What you sold the Gehl big skid steer and purchased a Bobcat S185 instead? You got a new 3500 Ram pickup also.
Yes new RAM Yes sold the mustang no bobcat that is my buddies
Would’ve been epic to see you pick that big rock out of the hole. Spin around and give it a fling down the hill. 😂. Obviously not an option.
Lol
Do u ever do work near the Herkimer area?
No I haven't
I saw a crew spreading gravel with a conver belt or something
Yeah you can do that too
Do u ever get Todd to come help on any jobs? I bet he would love it
Todd?
The suspension on that truck is not going to Lake that load
Back on site !
Heck yeah buddy
@@DIRT-BOSS new truck looks sweet!
Why did they have to fill in there the garage was going couldn’t they use it as part of the basement
Yes but then we would have to use hollow core plank or span with metal decking for the garage concrete floor
this going to be one fancy house with a view but not the easiest sight to work hope DOT didn't spot the lad with the load of trees it was near overloaded
Yeah I would say that was overloaded
Well they won’t have to worry about mowing to much grass there.
No doubt
👉👍👈
💯
Too bad. I was looking forward to watching the wall pour and the pillars
I was on other jobs
You sure that wasn’t Andrew camarata n that f350 lol
I was just watching it back and I said this is the stuff AC does!! To funny

@@DIRT-BOSS lol I just put that on videos to help people out
@@jeffwalker3768 all good !
Did you get paid to load those logs or were you just helping him out?
I did charge him by the hour but he did end up stiffing me in the end!!
@@DIRT-BOSS I would of charged as well but I am sorry to hear you didn't get paid.
SAND
I'd like to seen that crazy sob take that load of logs down the hill, lol. He should ask Santa Claus for a bigger truck
No lie He went off that big switch back then off the big mountains down to the towns I don't know how he made it
@@DIRT-BOSS I know, crazy right
What a wasted space under the garage.
Yes indeed It takes a lot of work to make that usable space
