We shouldn't rush for the whites and make quick decisions.one has to be vigilant and wise whenever we sense some funny characters.God saves His people.
Sorry Melissa
Hi lyn I tried many times to get through you but to no avail
God uncovers the truth for His chosen ones.
I enjoyed the way you told the story. It was sad but also entertaining.
Please can we understand there is no such thing as child pornography. Children cannot consent to engage in sexual behaviour. The more appropriate term 'Child Sexual Exploitation'.
Yes it is
There is power and freedom from confession and exposing the enemy
A very important distinction. There's no such thing as child pornography. Children can't consent it's exploitation and it's illegal.
Two things I think she did wrong..telling a man you are leaving…and letting him know you saw his pedophile material…those things could have gotten you hurt or killed…
Very true ,never try that
And 3rd one was not calling the police as soon as she found those images.
@@mongalix8I gave her a ? On the 3rd one because.. when you love someone and you are presented with certain choices.. you are very conflicted… so I had to ponder the 3rd idea…
I agree with you wholeheartedly!
Yessss! She’s definitely covered. But some men do and WILL kill to keep that type of secret. Plus, all of this is happening on HIS soil?! 😩 Who will the cops believe first? This is where us sisters (Black women specifically) must be smart, especially when dating a man of another origin. ESPECIALLY a white man. One must collect data and plan, plan, plan. Emotions can get you hurt, without strategic planning. She is BLESSED. 🙏🏾
Yes many people hide pedophiles in Kenya I was a victim when growing up and people knew but did not say anything or did not want to confront the person. We should learn to stand up for defenceless children
Agreed, many paedophiles in African homes
I pray GOD heals you
Same here
@@fthukuOMG
There a plenty of them. Something need to be highlighted
I don't know how you are doing. Finding closure is difficult and also a taboo in our culture but it is the point where you start or you will never heal or move forward
Sorry to say but Mellisa, she got played from day 1.
No mother will instruct a son to go and buy an engagement ring as quickly as they did!!
The family knew of his sexual sickness and thought marriage would resolve it.
They knew
I found that very strange, she had just gone to visit and next thing she was engaged 😅😅😅😅😅
@@bellaolum9768she was excited to get her papers if she wishes to speak the truth. So she went into it because she thought she had hit the jackpot.
The mother asked "how did they find out" Ahhh she knew her son was a dirty bastard
Yup I also felt the same they knew but just decided to shield there son. More grace and wisdom to Mellisa.❤
That's exactly 💯 what I said
Can everyone admit that this girl is a great story teller? Her sense of humor is top tier. She’s a whole vibe. She’s composed and knows what she wants in life. She narrated that story without shedding a tear. I speak healing to her and her kids. May God’s Grace carry them through. She’s is intelligent and bold. Thank you for coming out and sharing this story.

100% so much humor in the painful experience. She nailed it👌🏾
Let's add extremely beautiful & composed to that list wueh she looks like a model the melanin is really poppin 😍
No...there are parts of the story that sound made up maybe that's what you mean.
Black women idolizes the one way too much. Beware always
I just love my Mel,I’ve known her since waaay back in Kenya when she was getting married, then we both moved to Europe her in Denmark and me in Italy,we have both gone through narcissistic abuse,i asked for divorce in 2021 and am a single mom of two too;She always encourages me to keep going, she rose and helps others rise,go girl 👏🏾

Melissa is a real shero! I thank God for her strength and dignity.
Pedophiles in europé is like Tea 🍵 in Africa. Most WHITES looking 👀 for black women WHO have KIDS its only for pedophile advatage of using her kids sexually
Its very common here in SWEDEN. 🇸🇪 the neighbouring to Denmark 🇩🇰
Most black women getting married to white men do not do proper vetting as we do when marrying our fellow Africans
At 74 years old, I know that a person is who they are. We change no one. The key is to not let them change you. I love this interview.
Wise words
Thank you for sharing your wisdom. ❤
Thank you.
Very wise words! I’m learning that, now!!! And by not allowing anyone to try to change me, the more I find myself walking alone. Everyone values are different and I’m holding to my values, without feeling guilty or obligated.
Thank you mama ❤❤❤❤
I love Mellisa's calmness. She doesn't speak with anger or bitterness. She doesn't speak to make her husband look like a monster. Melissa you have understood God.
She has healed and chose peace
Hos husband is indeed a monster😏
It can only be God grace ❤
But he is a monster

IT'S EVERYBODY'S BUSINESS TO PROTECT INNOCENT CHILDREN
SPEAKING OUT CAN PROTECT OTHER CHILDREN FROM A PERVERTED PEDOPHILE
THAT'S THE PURPOSE....
THAT'S CONSIDERED "INTELLIGENT" THINKING
From the Story, it is quite clear that most of the instances when a Mzungu is looking for an African Wife, they are either rejects of their society or has mental illnesses.
The mother in Law, knew his son's problem. But the family of the man thought that an African wife will shut up and tolerate his behaviour and be 'grateful' that she in Denmark
I agree with you, the mother was quick to let the son propose because obviously he's a sickness and they thought a black woman would accept him irregardless.
Nothing but Facts❤. Watu wengi are in denial with this Reality. I Live in the UK. Come see my sisters with these Rejects. Just Pitiful 💔
@@scovyaporsha Facing the reality is good
Absolutely
I'll never ever understand why Black/African women( Kenyans & Nigerians especially), continue to chase after these reptilians thinking they're actually capable of sincerely loving them. Their lust for the enemy will be their ultimate demise. Thy want your energy and your land. Why not find your own kind to marry and have a family with??? We have enough problems to deal with within our race already; why complicate things further?
I'm absolutely FLOORED. What a brave, resourceful STRONG woman.
I wish her and her children continued health and strength!!
Hi Melisa
I know you are a prayerful person but I would advice you to purposely pray for your children and disconnect them with that spirit from their father
Very very Important, because those evil spirits would want to stick.
Lynn, nataka like yako juu I have 2 nieces that I named Lynn. One is Lynn, and the other one is Adelynn. Another one on the way, I'm going to name her Celynn. Wow! This is deep. To know that she would have lost her child to her abusive ex-husband is beyond me. This story really makes you think twice in so many ways. It's not just covering the basis of differences in culture, religion, and finances, it goes much deeper than the initial new romance phase, which turned into an engagement, and then marriage. Even if for one second you think you'd end up with a perfect fairytale love story and things take a turn, now you're faced with what laws of that land/country stand against you or what is for you. Regardless if the relationship was pursued long-term or short-term, I can tell you firsthand, that narcissistic people have a physiological way of luring you in without you realizing it until you're in the thick of things.
She not only faced discrimination from the police by the color of her skin to warrant the fact that her then-husband battered her first, but they favored protecting him instead in spite of it.
I could not fathom this and I know many of you would agree if you were faced with the same. Her story is literally saving lives. Learn from other's experiences and take note of her testimony.
I can relate to this because I was a victim of domestic abuse. And the same instinct she experienced of that first reaction of someone putting hands on you, and fearing for your life in that exact moment, is exactly what I went through. Please do not stay in it the first time it happens. Get out immediately, and find help to protect yourself by all means necessary. Otherwise, you will fall victim to a repeated cycle of being battered and you will find yourself stuck in becoming submissive to the abuser.
Peace and love to you all.
I feel his mother knew a long time what her son was into, that's why she persuaded him to hurry and get married to you.Sending you love ❤️

This woman is so poised well spoken and beautiful . I love her dress hair and make up.. This is a powerful story.. 😮 it took courage for her to come forward…she did the right thing. She probably saved a lot of innocent children.

They come here to Africa to marry us using us as pets thinking we are soo grateful for marrying us...not knowing that we are strong ...healthy..wise ..still listening
Spot on.
They are nothing many come for our minerals etc in the name of love
So true
Why are we talking about child porn in the Phillipines where as this is happening right at our doorstep in Kenya. German high profile men (lawywers, doctors, police directors....the list is long) come to Kenya and do the exact same thing with our children, and we are not shouting loud enough...It is frustrating and annoying. There is a powerful lady in Mombasa who has been fighting this and with very minimum support from us
Thank you for saying it to our deaf ears. Our dull brains will wake?
I noticed this in Kenya and Tanzania. I'm glad people are fighting it.
So stop welcoming the sex tourists in Africa. All these men have "fetish"
@@monikam9069oh,come on! You’re better than that. Your comments under this thread are quite distasteful. It takes the same energy to work towards a solution than perpetuating the problem. But, alas, everyone has their place in society 😑

Melisa is indeed a product of grace! The story is quite moving. Although I would have enjoyed it more if there’s less infusion of Swahili. But all in all, there’s a great lesson for everyone, men and women alike. May God guide our children and protect them from evil relationships, in Jesus name.
A Brilliant interview, and the subject Mellisa is a great story teller ! Quite self aware, eloquent, in-touch with herself, a realist, and a thinker at the core. You can tell she has great critical thinking skills and analyses things and puts them into perspective. This was interesting ! bottom line, living overseas and married is not easy ! I totally applaud her and ladies take notes !
I’m happy she’s got custody of her kids and she’s looks amazing thanks Lynn for this beautiful story.
I am amazed by the strength, resilience and intelligence of this woman. Her eloquence, the words that she carefully chooses to express her pain and suffering, the way she laughs and uses her gestures contribute to the beautiful wholesome being that she is. She is what she says and says what she is. Bravo. And Thankyou for sharing your story
Yes! She’s intelligent and bold.
This is such a good interview. And Lynn you are such a good interviewer. The only suggestion I have is to please provide an English translation when the convo slips into your mother tongue for those of us who don't understand. I got the general meanings (I think!) but I would have loved to understand the full convo. In any case I'll be watching- new subscriber! Wish everyone watching the best 😊 love from London, UK x

Swahili is not mother tongue.. whenever she speaks Kikuyu she repeats in English..
the guest is a brilliant story teller. It was not just telling a story, she was ministering to the audience!
God Bless you for this.
Have just watched this video, am in Uganda.I just thank God for her and the kids
Its the way Mellisa puts herself in other people's shoes as she speaks! Very respectfully!!!! Very eloquent! Very smart! Very articulate! Wow!!
Melisa, you remind me of a relationship I was in when so young which was so so abusive!!! I realized that I had entered this relationship out of infatuation and never love!!! The man derived a lot of satisfaction from seeing me hurt!! Like any other African who wants to satisfy society, I hanged in there for longer than normal!!! But for all that time, he never existed to me!!!! I had developed this kind of resilience that I couldn’t even hear him when abusing me!! I woke up to the fact that he was ugly, not educated enough, very unkind, had no money, and very hateful!!! By this time I had started on a life plan for myself. By the time I walked out, I had completed my studies and gotten a job!!! Up till now, I hate the memory of him!!!!! Thank you God🙏🏾🌹
Nahhhh, not All African girls like to hang and suffer. You’re generalizing because some of have been thought well by our parents not to take crap.

It sounds like Melissa was making too many excuses for her husband. If those were her own children in the pictures and videos would she have been so lax in getting the police involved? She keeps saying its not my place to say this...its not my place to do that blah blah blah. But she kept having interactions with him and not calling the police instead she was telling him to go for therapy!! God alone knows who s child or children that monster must have harmed in his life time- but I know if I saw something like that on my husband s computer I would be calling the police pronto! Some women turn a blind eye to child molestation/ port and instead think the man can be redeemed or worse still if I don t say anything it will go away. For someone as eloquent and articulate as Melissa who describes herself with a certain amount of arrogance as a sapiosexual, I find her attitude and behaviour in this case sadly lacking!!
Mesmerised by this lady what a great story teller! Anything 2hrs i would have watchen 30 min but had to finish this story. God bless what a woman!
It’s funny how I love this woman yet I have never met her. V positive energy, Godly vibe etc…
You are strong woman and guess what the world belongs to you.
I experienced a very similar story involving pedophilia--the perpetrator and his own minor child. He is now serving a life sentence without parole. Thank God for strong and brave women, who stand up to protect their children and other children. Melissa, you did well. I am sure you will inspire many with your beautifully narrated story. Please find it in your soul to pray for your ex-husband. This perversion is a trap of the devil to destroy lives and so many have been caught in this mess. The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy, and he will do it however he can.
The ex husband is not willing to change🤷🏽♀️
I wish I could understand everything she said. Oh dear...😮. I am from Europe but I live in the USA. I can tell you that I lived in Scandinavia for some time and was in a relationship with a Scandinavian man for 16 years and we had a child. I learned a lot about the culture the hard way. There is a very high level of pedophiles under the radar, but very common in that culture. It's sick. I actually met an African born woman who was brought from Ghana when she was a little girl and she ended up as a s*x slave her entire childhood to a Scandinavian woman. The woman's brother was also a degenerate pedo who abused little boys but he preferred them to be white. I heard from people I met there such disgusting stories along the same lines. Ask yourself why a white man or woman wants someone from another country. Everyone has their agenda, but for some it might not be a good one to get involved with. I am glad this lovely lady shared her story. Edit: many times, these older European men have been scorned by their women in their country. They also think they can get away with more shenanigans with foreign women. They believe foreign women are more traditional and loyal and will be stuck on them because they will pay the bills. They see themselves as the savior/rescuer white man. They have fetishes and are bored with their women, they want variety, that's why after an African wife he went for a Filipina.
Thank you for your comment there is Paedophilia across the WORLD & it's more rampant its always been prevelant but back in the day it was HIDDEN 🙏🔥💯🤎

Hi Lynn and Melissa, I live in Australia. 16 years with a covert narcissist. What a powerful story! What a strong woman! What I so appreciate is how you stuck to your boundaries. When you said 2 weeks to get counsel and he didn’t- you moved out. You make me want to move to Kenya! I love your enthusiasm. Your sense of humour. I agree it’s our relationship with our creator that gets us through. Covert narcissists rarely change. I agree you are so brave. What I did also love is that it’s so easy to listen to you. I’ve listened to lots of podcasts and sometimes the story is very compelling but the teller drags it out and it’s not interesting to listen to. This was a very long story but I didn’t get bored once, in fact couldn’t stop listening even while making lunch. These men are predators, period! You are beautiful too. Would love to meet you. Xx

May I appeal to all your fans, Lynn, especially ladies, to take this simple line seriously. Ladies, downfalls do not amount to failure but a learning experience. No one should define a journey to your destiny but you alone.
Melissa, looking at your previous photos, and now, just like Lynn has affirmed you already, I also validate that.
Guys, once you have become of age and can be in a position to make informed decisions for your life, go it, and as you navigate your life journey, be intentional in making conscious decisions. Life is never smooth sail. Having said that, be ready to experience both highs and lows. God has accorded you skills and capacity to surmount each hurdle you meet. However, how to apply them remains your prerogative. Lynn's shows are about experiences of others that are meant to help you and me learn how to avoid the mistakes they made. It's not mere stories to laugh and wait for the next episode.
I leave you this simple guideline, be you, be real, and at all times practice self-care. Peace of mind is the best tip for healthy living.

I love that she called the man out on his voyer behavior staring at an 11-year-old girl. She is absolutely right, today they take a lecherous look and comment and the next time he is touching. Disgusting. You have to speak up and call the pervs on their filth and twisted minds in the moment. Not to do so, is telling the perv, no one is there for that child, so they are free to have at them. I will always call the man or woman on their lowlife crap in the moment.

Beautiful interview Melissa, so proud of you for being so vulnerable, it takes a lot of courage to do this. You are a great story teller.
Thanks I’ve gotten her CZcams channel. She’s very inspiring for people that might be going through some sort of trauma in the abroad. Like she mentioned we got married to white men without really knowing much about their background and why they’re attracted to us. I thank God my story was different also I already schooled abroad before meeting my late husband in Africa. All the same I still had my own dose after getting married . My experience helped me sharpen myself quicker also the counselling I received also helped. His family too was very supportive and that was a great reliefs. He had alcohol issues but God gave me the strength to look after him and our child until his last breath. The outcome now that he is passed. I don’t even want any man to come near me. As far as I’m concerned I taken my own dose of something called marriage.
@olamao786 Your comment is the best comment on this panel. I see the obsession and praise of ⚪️ men in Black Caribbean and African community, as well as Asia and Latina communities.
