Pakistan needs such content. I have 10th passed. I read Urdu books. I can't read english books because my english is weak. Now I am improving my English. I like your videos, love you brother. Or Bhai ko support koo ap sb Bhai.❤❤😍😍
Aslam o Alaikum warhmatullah... Seriously i am also using this tip from the last few months literally it's amazing in simple words we can say ky book ko gnda krna acha lgta ha....Great job yh akhii....
when can we expect the third video of this series to be available? your efforts in this regrad in general, and especially for striving an intellectual space about islamic history, theological queries and philosophical insights are highly appreciated. jazakallah.
Great video, brother. I believe that keeping digital notes is more convenient because we can easily add further information and access it conveniently.
I would really recommend that you start a podcast, it is a comparatively easier form of content to produce and it'll allow you to discuss in depth your take on various topics. I'm asking for the users who prefer long-form content 😄. You could do an experimental podcast and gauge its reception. In any case, I commend you for creating content that I myself have wanted to produce for a very long time but alas, couldn't bring myself to. Keep up the amazing work Shershah, lots of love ❤
its nice to see such valuable content especially in the era when fools are appreciated for doing nonsense!!! i m glad a Pakistani is doing this at this young age...its unbeleiveable❤❤❤❤❤❤

Why don't you make a whatsapp channel or something else for group readings... It would be beneficial Or also plz inform if u know abt any such groups for mindful readings like not novels
I think that the book without highlighter looks more neat and clear when you read again for the revision and if a person is reading a philosophy book or any other fiqh book, he should write a little on each topic
I also love reading books. However, I explore online medium as to sustain with my interest because books are really expensive though it's related to my course.
Assalamualaikum. When writing a summary, do you attempt to do it from what you remember only or do you keep looking back at the chapter? Because the problem with solely relying on your memory would be that if you make a mistake or forget to write something, you'd have to do the process all over again. This would increase the amount of net work to be done and could potentially lead to laziness?
I revise all the underlines and side notes taken and repeat to myself what the main argument of the chapter of section is. Then I write it in my own words. I also write the important quotes. If u forget that’s fine. You can recheck ur side notes on the book.
brother, plz recommend 2,3 books for the beginner who wants to gain knowledge about deen n dunya in a parallel way.. such as furqan quraishi' research n passion
Could you, if it is not too much to ask, summarize this in English? And how do you revise your notes so that you remember. Also, how does one use fluently the materials in writing and discussions? I discerned that you will make a video about memorization and I would be grateful if you could make an English version or simply summarize it in writing. Thanks in advance. Huge fan.
sershah bhai english itne zayada ache nai to us ko kaise improve kre itne bare english ke books parhne ke liye please bata de aur english reading me kaha se parhna shuru kre
It depends. I usually go through the notes I take and not the entire chapter. But sometimes (rarely) I do give the entire chapter a read. But mostly I rely on my notes on the sides and margins.

Bro, do you fact check all the references and quotes mentioned in a book? Like, for example, you've shown a book in the very last part of your video where zia ul haq said something. Would you normally go and check if the resource is valid? I'm trying to start my first book but then I saw this video and am confused somewhat that how do I know that the quotes or references to a historical event is legit or not? Do I really have to go all the way back to the primary source evidence every time I stumble upon something? Would love to know your thoughts on this?
This is a good question. Thank you for asking. There are times when I am compelled to check the primary source or the references mentioned in the book im reading. But mostly I don’t bother because it’s hectic. You should avoid checking the primary sources every single time you come across a reference if you are just starting out with books. And don’t stick to one book as I said in (ep.1). Read multiple books at the same time.
@@_titanslayer_ okay then what would be your thought process behind a quote/reference that you absolutely check the primary source evidence for? Only when Formulating arguments? Or are there other instances as well? Coz this fear is hitting me that I might know a lot of factually accurate and at the same time factually inaccurate information. And, due to not having checked the primary sources, I can't differentiate between what's accurate or otherwise. Please put some light on this if u can.
@MalikAbdullah-je9cp I'm a research student and whenever we are reading papers or books to get an overall idea about something like for example just an introduction to something we don't check primary sources. But when we are focusing on a specific topic that we want to write about and elaborate on we are required to check the primary sources and cite them as well.

In the next video on book recommendations, I will talk about philosophy books. Stay tuned.
