I want to see Ant rejoin a hypercar team. Haha
Okay serious note this was cool. Thanks for the info. Have you already done a detailed video on scrutineering in the world endurance championship? and if so, where may I find that?

Hi @FIA, I had an idea to change the safety car rules. I was thinking shortly before the safety car returns to the pit, there is a “choose rule” similar to NASCAR. How it would work is before the safety car goes back to the pit drivers will be able to pick whether they restart on the inside or outside lane. Rather than restarting single file. (Which makes the restarts very very very, very, very, very boring.) I think this would make races a lot more entertaining to watch and it plays a different strategy to the race which I think would make WEC races a lot better to watch and would allow for a lot more passing on restarts and much more entertaining racing.

Please get rid of the AI countdown voice. We want to hear Eduardo. He's the absolute best.

The AI voice allows Freitas to focus on what's happening and makes it very clear what is happening.

At LeMans were are all the Safety Cars parked. I'm presuming one is in the pits as normal but what about the other two. Also when the field return to green flag racing what happens to the Safety Cars that don't return to the pits

The 2nd car I believe is stationed at the first chicane of the Mulsanne straight, and the 3rd car I believe is stationed at Indianapolis. When the track is ready for green flag racing, all three queues merge behind the first safety car, then the green flag is called like on a normal sized track. The 2nd and 3rd cars pull into their designated spots when the queues are merging to prepare for the green flag

Turns out, 2024 Le Mans had a Safety Car D, meaning 4 safety cars at le mans.

That is why we have the pace car in NASCAR, to keep the cars slow while the crews clean up the debris, they have to go at pit road speed after a deadly accident at Atlanta in the early 1990's on pit road
