As much as I'm not disputing the possibility of Dr Mike marrying Bunmi or that it is or is not the will of God, I personally opine that he should have been wiser in his approach, knowing his history with Mo and the fact that Bunmi was her best friend.
What do I mean? He started by being suggestive to Mo, calling her, asking her for a time out together and all of that...this was someone who was going through a lot and you were already attaching yourself to her emotionally knowing she can't be yours as long as she was married to David. Then,in a twinkle of an eye,you switched again!
For instance, calling Bunmi out for a conversation without even acknowledging Mo's presence at certain scenes after you had been suggestive is not the best. Maybe if he had sought for counsel (I don't know if he did though), he could have been more wiser in his approach.
Maybe a prior conversation with Mo to dissolve whatever emotional attachment they had could have been a good option.

In the meantime, notice how God is working on both of them separately as individuals. They're going through different phases but when the time is right, they'll reunite.
This is how God is preparing your spouse-to-be wherever He/She is. Do not be in a haste to meet them and get married because according to your 'time' it's getting late.
You may just be hindering God's work and interfering with what He is doing. Allow God to FINISH!

Lolol very! Sometimes when relationship is our goal, we can't see anything else. This is why leaders are so important. When you can air your concerns before a leader/Pastor/Spiritual mentor they can respond better because they are not blinded by our desires and wants.

I had already foreseen the jealousy over Bro Mike from Sister Mo. It's written all over her that she wish she never married to David and in all of these, she has not been praying for God's help. She also needs to understand God's standard on marriage and divorce, Bunmi never forced her to marry David, she actually told her what she heard which was actually true then but she never bothered to go back to God for clarification and confirm the information received from her friend. Meaning she wasn't convinced of the leading herself if she was sure, she would have gone back to God who led her to Mike initially, the secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him.
I still don't understand why they are not carrying their pastor along? It would have been better for Dr Michael. I actually love his approach to Bunmi, so raw as usual for innocent, sincere and genuine born again brother. I just remembered how my husband proposed to me casually just like that 😅. Meanwhile, both of them (Bro. Mike and Sister Bunmi) needs to see pastor for guidance before the reality of their relationship gets to Morenike. In actual fact, human will always be human 😢

The role Bunmi played in Mo's choice made me remember and understand why we were advise as youth then to let our conviction be between us, our Pastor and God only until the coast is clear.
I don't see anyone interceding for Morenike in the family apart from the 2 pastors. not her parents nor Bishop.
Morenike needs prayer partner to bring her back to God to renew her confidence that God is still interested in her marriage to David.

Honestly, I wish I took heed to red flags wen I was 35yrs of age. I was desperate. But I thank God d guy worked out after our traditional marriage and I felt it's all over. But I thank God. Though I'm yet to b settled maritally, I have learnt not to be desperate. I have learnt how to be discerning, prayerful to know God's plan. And this is why I am following this series back to back. My take concerning this movie is , if Mo and Bunmi are unbelievers, Mo will never forgive Bunmi if she eventually marry Dr Mike bcos it was this same Bunmi that couldn't give her friend sensitive advice to wait when her friend had difficulty issues in making right decision
Now Bunmi is seeking for her friend to see revelation concerning Joel . If she has stood with Mo then and not pressing her to marry David, Mo won't have made the mistake she made.

I think it's wrong timing for Bunmi telling Morenike about Dr Mike's proposal. She could have waited, received convictions from God about him, and seek validation from their Pastor, while she and Mike discuss and agree to allow Morenike be in a better space emotionally before the disclosure to her.
While Morenike shouldn't make a scapegoat of Bunmi for her own predicaments, Bunmi on the other hand owes Morenike a steady support front through her restoration process due to the role she played in her wrong choice. That, really, is friendship.
With this hurried disclosure, she's at the risk of guilty feeling and worrying about her relationship with Morenike. If she's being sincere, I'm not sure she'll be able to proceed with Dr Mike now too. So, why not wait?!

Yes, notice how she was so considerate and calm in explaining things to Mo even though Mo did not understand at the point. Some sisters will not do that, which will rather make such friendship become sour.
Despite the clear revelations God gave her, through open visions, Morenike succumbed to her impatience. Unfortunately, claiming to have been deceived into a marriage does not fall under the four biblical grounds for divorce: failing to provide food, clothing, conjugal love, or in cases involving adultery, which is unfaithfulness. Many Christians and churches do not recognize even these biblical grounds for divorce.
Morenike must understand God's comprehensive counsel on marriage. From my own perspective, she has deceived herself despite all the open visions God showed her. It's difficult to empathize if God Himself isn't intervening. What she perceives now does not come from God. Morenike is similar to David in this respect and needs her own form of rehabilitation. The past was real when it happened, but it isn't the reality now. Clinging to past grievances leads to disillusionment, stagnation, and sometimes even insanity. When her spiritual eyes are opened, she will know to make lemonade from the lemons life has thrown at her. She should focus on forgiveness and rebuilding her home, rather than dwelling on the self-pity of feeling 'defrauded.' My comment, of course, is not for the video’s Morenike but for those like Morenike that are out there.

I love that divorce doesn't really have to always be the way out. Frankly I wanted that for Morenike but seeing the issues unfolding... wow. If we will stop in our tracks and co-operate with God, we will see Him fix broken things.

There are several concerning signs with Joel. For example, he blocked her on WhatsApp because she couldn't make an appointment without giving her a chance to explain.
At the restaurant, he displayed jealousy when she spoke to a church member she knew long before he met her. That behaviour seemed unwarranted.

Wow amazing, Morenike presented a strong personality to us from the beginning.
She even had a ministry where she mentors other young women.
One should expect yhat she should retreat back to the place of prayer, consult the holy spirit again and then come out with a firm decision considering her ministry and personality.
She has been geting checks fro. The Holy spirit and pushing them aside allowing her flesh and desires to rule.

I have seen many similar cases like Bunmi and her Romeo, that worked out quite well contrary to what many singles believe. Some guys have the grace of knowing from the first day.
I know a couple in similar circumstance who are today senior Pastors, beautiful family, my friend is super spoilt and they have been together for 30+ years. God doesn’t operate as a recipe.
That Dr Mike is a good actor, he interprets his role well. Bunmi is a No- go area and we shouldn’t send the message that such is ok. Even those in the world respect boundaries.

The few slip-ups here and there do not count as enough reasons to prevent Mike from proceeding with Bunmi. Amongst believers we know we are supposed to operate within God’s will. If the parties missed it the first time round, why must they miss it again, on the sentiment on an individual who is refusing to heal and wouldn’t forgive. We forget something that when we give God our ashes, He’s able to craft beauty from it. If Mo were to be happy with her husband, she wouldn’t be so bothered who Bunmi ended up with. And is merciful enough to restore Mo’s home to the extent that there really will be no hard feelings between all involved parties😃
Our actions and inactions has consequences which we don’t have control over. Mo should take responsibility for her actions and stop blaming other people, she had opportunity to back out but she refused, Bumi will be foolish to turn down the proposal.

What I like about Pastor Right and Mummy Pastor Mrs. Right, is that they make marriage seem like it comes so effortlessly. Like there is no work to put into it until you genuinely and decisively choose to focus on the lessons portrayed on each episode of the husband and wife series then I understand it looks flawless because the two in marriage cooperated with the Divine to working on their flaws.
So I rest my case and say so help me God 😂.
In life some mistakes are very very costly, like Marital mistake. Mo has really missed it but i can see God in His mercies turning things around for her for good. This is happening due to godly counsel, the question is how many couples in David and Mo situation have such opportunity?

Can't Bunmi see the signs? One,he (Joel) didn't give space for her to explain herself in his anger. Then, he went ahead to block her. So what will happen if they have disagreements in marriage, he will pack his load and leave the house?
