What size is the wood you're using for the border? What was your initial dig depth, 12"? Nice work!

I'm also curious to what type of rock you covered the french drain with. Was that a decomposed granite mix added next?

As the players walk on it will there be divots from their foot prints that will catch the ball?

There will be small footprints but nothing significant that would catch the balls or interfere with play.

did you use sand or gravel for top layer?

This was up to our client! But if it was a personal court I would recommend a top layer of sand. It plays better for sure.
