Getting citizenship there isn't a very good option at all. It's a great place to have a visa to stay there to cut down on expenses and have a second place to stay. Banking is not the greatest and your hands are sort of tied and find yourself having to have paper fiat in your own vault over using a bank.
Exactly I don't see the appeal in this passport sucks don't need to invest 75k getting visa extension is cheap and easy. Banking system is a joke I couldn't open an account
@WallStreetIceCream Very different places. I live in the Philippines but couldn't imagine myself living full-time in Dubai. But I prefer island-life. If you want big-city luxury, I am sure Dubai would be the better choice. Either can be very tax friendly.
@NomadicInvestor ya true. I've been to cebu, and BGC liked both. Of course, nowhere in ph is like BGC as far as walkability and modern. The condos, though, are super small, and I think it's difficult earning income as a foreigner. You really need to work remotely. Dubai is definitely more business friendly easier to get yourself setup. Ph deff cheaper both have pros and cons.
I think Malaysia visa is worse now as it is mandatory to buy property there for minimum RM600,000 and keep it for 10 years,
