    Welcome to my CZcams channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.
    I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting!

    Getting a HT this early on before your hair stabilizes is always a gamble, getting a transplant is not often a one shot deal especially this early on. He will most likely be chasing his hairline with a couple more procedures.

      There are several factors in treating hair loss naturally. One place I found which succeeds in merging these is the Daijon growth plan (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the no.1 guide i've seen. Check out all the super information .

    I'm surprised you still had scabs at 2 weeks - from every surgeon I've spoken to, you don't want to have any scabbing after 10 days as it suffocates the follicle and stops growth. Really want to be showering and getting rid of them days 7-10

    • @hairliciously
      @hairliciously  Před 5 lety

      hey sam, a lot of the scabs were falling off but not all of them were even at 2 weeks. I was being very careful but now, I realize that grafts are fully anchored around 5-10 days. The thing to do is to always keep them moist when removing so that it'll be much easier.

    • @samfortune589
      @samfortune589 Před 5 lety

      @@hairliciously Thanks mate - I'm at day 5 now and my surgeon said if they aren't gone by day 10, just shower multiple times and gently stroke them off with the aid of water and baby shampoo. This first week is a head fuck - trying to make sure I don't fuck it up :D

    • @hairliciously
      @hairliciously  Před 5 lety

      I know the struggle lol. I'll be going through it again in November. Just know that you do not have to rush. I'm pretty sure the scabs are NOT going to suffocate the follicle. The hairs implanted will eventually fall out (about 95% of them) and will start to grow around the 3 month mark.

    • @varun009
      @varun009 Před 4 lety

      You can expect progression of baldness to reach completion eventually. Establishing a hairline leaves comparatively easier work for future procedures. It's not a bad idea in my calculation to get a hair transplant in your youth when having hair arguably matters most.

    1st I wanted to say your hair looks great. I've been watching a lot of your videos regarding your transplant and derma rolling with minoxidil.I just turned 40 and I'm about where you were before you got your transplant regarding hair loss. I just started using Kirkland Minoxidil solution and Lipogaine shampoo. I'll start derma rolling in a week when I receive it. I'm wanting to get FUE surgery, but just want to verify that the Minoxidil and Lipogaine can control my hair loss. My question to you is I'm looking into FUE, but I wear my hair short on the sides #1. With about 1500 grafts do you think the scars will be pretty noticeable? Did you have the machine or wasn't by hand when you had your FUE and what kind of scaring did you get? Thanks again for all the great videos.

      some people do experience shock loss in surrounding native hair, but they tend to grow back. If the hairs were already prone to MPB, the shock from a hair transplant can accelerate the hairs to fall out, but I didn't have any problems with hair loss after my hair transplant. It depends on each person, their degree of hair loss, etc.

    Hi, Mostly I see people having curly hair after hair transplant. How come your hair is so smooth after hair transplant? Did you do anything specific? Please reply.

    Is transplanted hair permanent and wont fall anymore? Are you still maintaining drugs for your hair. And what is it?

    Can you do a review on the LED helmet for hair? I saw in a previous video, any results? They are very pricey.
