Welcome to the Militia Gaming Community, I'm Trigger Militia and this video is all about the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport in Need for Speed Heat.
If you are familiar with these build videos go ahead and skip to about the 2 minute mark if not…Here’s how these videos go: I buy each engine for the car and test it on the day races Aerion and Aarvark to find which ones the fastest. During testing I record the final race time and compare it to the other engines for the car. I only record a time if the race was super clean. I have raced over 400 times on these two courses so I know them like the back of my hand. If I make a driving mistake I restart the race and throw that time out. Consistency and accuracy are my top two priorities. After I find the fastest engine…I optimize it for each type of racing this game offers: Track, Drag, Drift and Dirt giving you 4 completely different builds to use for each type of racing in the game. I also have my personal top 20 for the two track courses so that we can compare the race times with the rest of the cars I’ve tested to see how each car stacks up in the grand scheme of things. The idea is to have some sort of foundation to rank the cars from fastest to slowest. Keep in mind this is my personal top 20 and it does not represent these cars’ fastest possible times on these tracks. There are people out there running faster times using race shortcuts and different builds. The goal is to find the fastest engine for the car because that seems to be the biggest headache when building cars in this game.

I bought the Grand Sport. In my opinion, I think it handles like the RSR. I knew it was a good car, but 4th overall in the off-road category!? I'm very surprised! Nice!
For the record a shorter gear box is better for drifting with an automatic transmission, you won't have the issue of shifting during a slide or being stuck in 3rd or 4th when you need to make tighter corners as well as being able to go faster during much wider slides.I know these videos are years old but after watching a couple dozen of your videos I noticed you always use high gear boxes for drift builds and after months of testing and being a casual drifter irl I promise you'll notice a difference.
Just bought this car today without ultimate parts and the stock engine it put me at 394 and handles like a dream lowkey this car is a beast
So why not v12 engine for track?

Thanks for the video. I've had this game for about a month and have used this car pretty much the entire time since I snagged the deluxe edition for 10$. Not huge on racing games but play them once in a while. Your videos are really good and informative on this game.
