Hello guys, Driving Police Cars In NFS Games. Now this was a lot of fun to do, especially driving police cars in games like Most Wanted and Carbon. Of course you know there are games such as Hot Pursuit, Rivals and High Stakes where you can play as a cop, and in those games I tried to show police equipment rather than cars, cause there are so many of them. In games like Most Wanted, Carbon, Undercover, 2015, Payback and Heat I had to use mods for the police cars (thanks to modders, they are making incredible job). Hope you like it.

Hot Pursuit 2010 has the most satisfying chases ever in the series with that high quality sound design especially the sound of TURBO.
Definitely. I am playing it now and it provides some top class entertainment. Especially playing as police in hot pursuit races, taking racers down mmmm lovely.

There's a feature in NFS High Stakes where you can drive police cars not listed in the main car roster. This is because during the pursuit you can swap cars with the AI police cars (just like the shift mechanic in Driver SF) and you can drive the Chevrolet Caprice or the Ford Crown Victoria
In the Ps1 version you choose the police cars depending on the track. When the track is located in Europe, you can choose between BMW M5, Porsche 911 Turbo or Lamborghini Diablo SV. If it's in North America, you can choose between Chevrolet Caprice, Corvette C5 or the Diablo. And your enemy's cars depend on which you choose.
Even though Rivals was more like just an arcade game with IRL cars, it played really good and graphics where pretty fine for its time, maybe it’s just that I haven’t ever played a lot of NFS games, or that when I was younger graphics where so much better in my mind, but NFS Rivals will always be my favorite.

I loved the fact that early NFS games had an actual police driving mode where you can bust people. I really missed that in later games.

Hot Pursuit had my favorite selection of Police Cars, plus the variety of wraps given to each individual class of car, the american vehicles having a bright blue or deep green color, the more exotic cars having white, black, and even midnight blue!

I played NFS Most Wanted 2012 and NFS Rivals on my laptop 2 months ago and also NFS Undercover 1 month ago.

The "playable" cop cars in NFS Undercover are meant for the Cops and Robbers gamemode, where they are maxed out reskins of playable cars:
Civic Cruiser performs like a Porsche Cayman S (but its first car_tuning field mentions Nissan Skyline GT-R R34)
State Cruiser is a Lamborghini Gallardo LP-560, but has another "Progressive Special Investigations Unit" you can unlock with the code *qfmytyda* ... That one is much like a maxed out Ford Mustang GT, which is a Tier 3 car... and thus not as good.
Super State Cruiser is a Bugatti Veyron 16.4... for some reason.
And the SUV unit... is a maxed out Ford Escort Cosworth, or a Ford Focus ST if you somehow manage to buy its base version.

1. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento from Rivals
2. Lamborghini Reventon from HP 2010
3. Ferrari 458 UC in Rivals
4. Cross' Corvette in MW 2005

The GTO is unplayable in NFS Carbon, unless if mods are used.

Imagine hot pursuit or rivals became competitive : farm your level, do missions and unlock spells and spells modification. Then theory craft your race by taking the good car and good spells. Climb the ladder and become the best cop or racer

NFS Rivals is my Favorite NFS game but I pre ordered Hot Pursuit Remastered which I’ve never played and I can tell I’m going to enjoy it it’ll be my second favorite and my favorite Police Vehicle is Ford Crown Victoria,Charger would be my second

I'd say 2010 normal is still better than the re-release. The damage model was significantly downgraded in the re-release. The graphics 'upgrade' was just adjusting the brightness a bit. It's an overall downgrade that was made for the sole purpose of milking nostalgia and making money. Owners of the original don't even get a discount.
Heck, 2010 has solid graphics for a game that was made in 2010

The only police unit in the world to come close to NFS's, is the Dubai Highway Patrol. They have a Bentley, a McLaren, a Lambo, a Ferrari, heck, even a Bugatti.
It would be something refreshing and also the Emirates have a huge supercar/hypercar community.

Technically there’s 2 versions of hot pursuit 2, the PC, Xbox, and gamecube versions (made by EA Seattle) and the PS2 version made by black box.

Yep, 10 years old. Still playing it over and over again. Never gets old.
Rivals is harder than HP 2010 tho. Same as HP 2010, the weapons got buffed. There are no pursuit breakers, no hiding spots, and worst of all, their AI rubberbanding is scary as hell, they always come back to you even if you attempt to outrun from them.
How do you go about getting NFS: Hot Pursuit 2 working on Windows 10? I’ve read that it doesn’t work on Windows 10 and that you can’t play it off a physical disc either.
