Jerem I have already put royal purple in my 2.7 Silverado, best oil been told specially for GM motors. Put it all my chevy’s better gas mileage on my 2500 for sure
czcams.com/video/E2zS8MyvJxU/video.htmlsi=YZnMA7Sxm36mJq60 looks like I will be putting amsoil in my 2.7, considering the turbo needs clean oil is important that’s why I definitely put royal purple in mine. Watching this video I will consider my next oil change amsoil not much more cost than the purple.
Did you guys replace the heater/radiator hoses at the same time? Also those plastic quick disconnects that GM uses to attach the heater hoses to the heater core get brittle with age and will leave you stranded. Its so much easier to replace all of that stuff when the system has to be drained like in this situation.
Oh Noooo! I sure didn't! I totally forgot about the plastic disconnects on the heater hoses! Thanks for the reminder! Looks like another video is coming up.
