- The #Venice Electric Light Parade rolls along Ocean Front Walk in #SantaMonica, Sunday, July 18, 2021. The Venice Electric Bike Parade promotes bicycle safety at night. The rides are held every Sunday at sun set and starts at Venice Beach. Wheel Lights aren't required to ride. The ride is free. @veniceelectriclightparade @realmarcusggladney

Imagine being a street musician on the Venice boardwalk posted in a vendor spot on front of a restaurant, making only tips.
Now imagine 150 people on bikes with boomboxes w/max volume all playing a different Skynyrd or Techno song stopping right in front of you for like 20 minutes.
This is the light parade.

I'm a member of SanDieglow in San Diego, we did a ride at the beach last night. Our ride was about 75 riders. It's so much fun.

those guys are actually super annoying with how loud they are. it would one thing if they only played music when moving, but they stop at a bunch of spots and blast music super loud. I guess because they need attention
