- Oud & Lute - King of Instruments -
The origin of the oud belongs to the ancient times and similar instruments were used by the Babylonian and ancient Egyptian. Until today, oud is played as the "king of instruments" in Arabic culture.
The oud found his way to Europe in medieval times and it became "lute". During the Renaissance the lute was also regarded as the "king of instruments".

Are you tuned to the 432 frequencies on these beautiful solos?

I play here with pure 3rd and 6th intervals. The intervals have much more influence on our minds than the concert pitch. Please watch the video about intonation: czcams.com/video/cOvhC7LsfNU/video.html
I'm a lute player, and we tune on various pitches between A = 380 and 500 Hz. But we never tune on A = 432 Hz in early music.
The pitch of A=432 Hz is based on too many conspiracy theories and pseudo-scentific assertions: czcams.com/video/EKTZ151yLnk/video.html
I play on A = 440 Hz with various intervals based on the scientific facts.
