I got scared by the comments at first you got a few snobs commenting thinking they’re too good. All 4 of the Contras are incredible. The stronger with you and GG Reserve Privee are literally better than the original. The 2 PDM’s are Fire. I can’t leave them on the shelves I got 3 sets and 2 that just need the stronger with you (beast mode) ones. I liked and subscribed. Thanks

I picked this one up. This is good. It's Layton without the Vicks Vaporub smell that I dislike. It does not smell cheap for a $15 fragrance. Love it.
Opening is the proverbial chemical mess. Dry down is close. You can definitely smell the difference in quality between the two.
Just picked this up at TJmaxx today. Great review on it. I have a decant of layton exclusif and can definitely smell the same DNA in it.
I liked Layton, but not enough to spend the money on it. Which I’ll do if I like the fragrance enough. Like Aventus, Angel’s Share, Oud Wood, bought all those. Believe it or not, my Aventus purchase got me into dupes because I spent a good chunk of change on it. Then I started seeing all these comments on videos about CDNI and bought that purely out of curiosity…well, I got more compliments and “what are you wearing.” Out of CDNI than I ever have from Aventus 🤦🏻♂️ I could have had like 9 bottles of Club de Nuit instead of a tiny Aventus bottle. Anyways, I have some testers of Layton, not crazy enough about it to make the purchase but YEAH this contra dupe does the trick for a lot less. I was a fragrance elitist, but sometimes the dupe hype is real.

I bought this and knew exactly what it was. My wife is a niche snob and really liked this, since she bought me Layton Exlusif for my birthday. To me, it is the og Layton and Exclusif in one. Of course it is not as animalic as LE, but there is some characteristics of it in there. I can't find anymore bottles of this anywhere in town since I bought it.

Tried this today at my local marshalls and for the price is really good.
I smelled these today and thought they were lacking or horrible. They were a bit better in the dry down but idk cuz I’ve never smelled the parfum they’re imitating. Will go to Nordstrom’s to check

What's longevity and projection like in compare with the other Layton clones? Is it more intimate or do you still leave a scent trail after multiple hours?
Longevity snd projection is insane! Had 3 compliments in the first hour of applying it! No joke. It smells like Layton just stays sweeter!

i got 6 different clones from the brand called Milestone, 3 of them clones of Amouage, and all 6 perform terrible. And i've noticed with clones that they are very linear meaning the scent doesn't change probabely because they are made of 100% aroma-chemicals.
I find buying clones is kind of a waste as I never wear them, maybe once in a while at home. I rather wear niche all the time, I don't even grab the designers anymore. Clones are good for giving a taste of what the real one is like, but every real one I smelled, I much prefer. Then when you get the real one, the clone just sits there and you smell it every once in awhile but notice how much is missing and how inferior it really is to the real one. Thinking of giving the clones away... Yet I keep buying clones cause a real one is usually 8-10x the price.

When you buy the real thing, part of what you're paying for is the ethical ñanor of a place life France or Italy. Many rackstore knockoffs (clones) are made in UAE which is 80% migrant labor with little human rights. TJ Maxx has been called out on it's suporte of sweatshop labor. Save up and buy one real frag instead of a bunch of knockoffs made off exploitation.

French factories and uae factories both use migrants from Africa for minimum wage in both countries and they cost $1 a bottle to mass produce designer and niche the rest goes to making billionaire fashion houses richer
