Can I just say that the view at 10:53 gave me goosebumps? I'm really loving this process of yours, you're a fantastic creator
Thank you so much! Glad to hear this kind of compliment. It really gives me inspiration to keep going in this direction for the videos.
If all those indiedevs making devlogs would work together, we would have an amazing game to play.
Another awesome devlog man đ
If I could make a suggestion, you could try to have like a small amount of vertex displacement using a shader for the character's hair (or maybe even the whole body) so it's constantly "wobbly". It's going to make the character more interesting to look at instead of being static all over. And it would also fit the "soul" aspect of his design because he isn't really tethered to this world.
Looking forward to more
Your world crafting is top tier!
Adding nature as a main charector is honestly the most wholesome yet amazing ideas i have ever seen,The enviorment /nature makes a game memorable đ
Love the atmosphere the game has
What a pretty world you've created.
i already feel so invested into the world being crafted so far,
all the best luck going forward, I can't wait to see how your vision continues to evolve c:
Amazing progress! I really love the inspirations you talked about in your first devlog for this project, and the inverted floating castle is brilliant for the atmosphere. Great stuff.
One thing is that when I first saw the castle I think the stairs leading up to it took away from the view slightly because it looked like it was tethering the castle down to the ground but at the wrong angle, this is just a minor thing though and I'm sure not everyone would agree with me on that
Thanks!
I agree with you, other comment said that a wind/elevator to move the player to the castle would be a great idea. In the future I will remove the stairs and add a more interesting way to arrive at the castle!
Very interesting to follow your journey :)
Love what youâre doing.
Have you considered something like a beam of light between the castle to the ground that the player can use get up there? There is a YT video about âfake god raysâ that might work.
I just think the bridge looks structurally implausible.
That sounds like a great possibility to get into the castle too! I will make sure to test this when returning to the castle design.
Wow, well done. I like your focus on the story~
looking great! I love the atmosphere of the game, can't wait to see what's next đ
Looks really cool!
Keep up the good work ma boy. Finally an indie dev who is not rushing his project!
Really amazing! đȘ
im in love with your videos
That area in the intro looks similar to another area from The Pathless.
The upside down castle is very cool
4:15 Momento Castlevania
The vistas in this are great.
This has neir automata vibes try looking for short hike a really good open world small but funs (btw my opinion but I really liked the old character more and itâs more cooler I guess the new model seem so strange ) I am hyped for this
Waow
Man, I LOVE your devlog!
I'm planning on doing one myself for my horror game "EMERGENCE".
Your game reminds me of an Elden Ring like open world. Although it's a greyblock prototype i can already see the potential.
Thanks!
Horror is one of my most favorite themes, I hope to hear great things about your project in the future, good luck!
Nice!
Hello again! Thanks for the support :)
What do you mean by "no combat"? :D
I noticed that almost all open-world games involve some aspect of combat, such as enemy encounters and bosses. Here, I want something more relaxing and exploration-driven, where you're simply exploring a strange world and understanding what happened. However, there will be a few areas in the game where I want unique encounters with enemies. I will use this context of no combat happening to create memorable and rare fights. If the player wants, they can choose to ignore these combats and find another way.
awesome atmosphere!
also you sound kinda... brazilian? đ€
Thanks! I am brazilian :)
â@@TaleSun sabia q tinha algo familiar! mto dhr poder acompanhar e apoiar um projeto BR. espero q dĂȘ certo!! tmj
@@leechby4590 Valeu querido! â€
You are inspiring me to make my own game, you should post every day or at least twice a week
Glad to hear that, thank you!
I hope you go forward with your game idea.
Sadly, it's hard to reconcile my time for development with university and work, so the progress is slow. I would love to make more constant videos, but trying that would not fit into my schedule. Also, I like to take time between videos to give myself the time to craft more elaborate content with meaningful substance.
will this be like elden ring?
In some aspects, yes. I want that feeling of amazement that Elden Ring gives in my game too. Also, the lore hidden within the items and architectures is something I'm aiming for. But there is where similarities end. I want my game to be exploration-focused and more relaxing.
@@TaleSun ok thanks
Give the source code of the game and make the game for Android đđ
