As I mention in this part the project was taken over by Roland Sands Design as they wanted the bike for a bike show in Germany, Colognand therefore they have added their after market parts to the project. More to come on this build. And I must admit the colour has grown on me!

I second that, i did like the "apes" and the original paint, the forward controls and the pipes. I will say no more.
Each biker is different from all the others, and so should their bikes be different too. I sold my Softail Springer a month ago, it was my bike for 20 years. I just bought a 2018 Street Bob and I am already in love with this Harley. First thing I did was replace the exhaust for Vance & Hines, and after your videos I must change for the forward controls. I would have stopped somewhere closer to your stage 2 (real old school bobber) but it´s nice to see what can be done with a Street Bob. Good job!
I think the green is spot on.
No to colour, no to the bars. It looks a 90's sportster.

Once I got over the Dyna thing I rode all the 2018 Softails. Bit disappointed with the Fat Bob which does everything ok but nothing great, however was blown away by the Streetbob which has to be the surprise of the pack and is probably the best HD I've ridden. Awesome handling and performance and lends itself perfectly for customising (a daddy Iron in that respect). You asked for feedback on this bike soooo...
...it's not what I'd choose, I like chunky apes, mid controls, FX style chopper looks and tall ass skinny sissy bars none of which this bike offers; but then that's kind of the point, we all like different and that's why each bike reflects it's rider, (although I do like the wheels massively).
So it's important to find a base bike to create your own style from and like I said, the FXBB is definitely up for it. It's always great to watch and listen to someone who just loves bikes, loves to ride and doesn't care what anyone thinks, so I enjoyed this video. Great channel keep it up and all the best.

Harley Street Bob and Harley Fat bob are the two bikes in softail range that are built for customization. Awesome wheels, the colour very brave yet very cool. Dare to be different is what Roland Sands is all about anyway. Nice work.

Thanks Mark for sharing with us this build. The bike itself with all the mods is great. However this colour was a bit of a surprise. Not something I will choose for HD. But hey, it might grow with the bike with time. Another great review.

Fourth time watching this video, and your bike is growing on me. I do prefer the original wheels, especially those on the 2020 Softail Standard (which is why I ordered one), and thanks to your advice, I ordered my bike with forward controls. Keeping the mini-apes now that I see the Sportster look. The great thing about CZcams is that you get to see what others do, and see what you like, and don't like !

It does remind me of a big Sportster and maybe that’s why I like it. The color is great for visibility.

I love the high visibility “hi-lighter” color. Could you list the teacher bar PN abs which riser you used? That’s exactly how I want mine to look.
Not gonna lie, I'm not crazy about a lot of things on this bike. The paint is not for me at all, nor is the V&H Short shots either. But that's OK! Variety is the spice of life my friends! Keep up the good work Mark!

I like the all blacked out look but also like loud and proud colours, so I quite like the green, but please tell me you are going to get rid of those horrible rubber fork gaitors, I think they ruin the line of the forks, but apart from that keep up the good work
Not a fan of the color and it does need the mini apes, but that's just my preference
I still can't come to terms with the profile/shape of the fuel tank on the new Street Bobs. If you're going for a small tank I much prefer the sportster style.

The colour is a bit Kwak but it does work, 'kind of' lol.. pumpkin orange and a bit of custom spray on the tank ' like a pumpkin lantern, edit: "Jacko lantern" would have been killer at a show, this time of year lol'
Can't the rear fender drop an inch and then turn clockwise the radius of the wheel, so its bottom edge is level with the bottom edge of the right side plate, ,, giving moor dimension to the rear wheel, (sos clear as mud)

The standard stuff gets a bit munisable rather than "industrial"
The new Street Bob looks like a Sportster to me they should have kept that square battery box it went with the lines of the bike. Also you got to do yourself a favor and cut those little booties off your front shocks looks terrible. Looks like you got a quality paint job too bad it's lime green. Wheels look damn nice though

I'm not a fan of black on black as I think that's been done to death. But I think that green on the tank and fenders is a bit much. Also, when will HD do something about those rear fenders? Ruins the shape of the bikes.

That's awsome that the blockheads are coming to the UK would love to come down in March from Scotland to meet you guys and rent a bike and go ride with you aswell. Definitely need to get block head on some nice country roads with nice twistys and scenery as he only see's the city in Florida

A Harley should not look like a plastic sport bike.. Maybe add some flame graphics to the paint and bring back the ape handle bars and maybe it will look manly again..

First impressin = Kawasaki dirt bike.
Its a nice colour but there's too much of it.
Given that the bike is mostly blacked-out, the green sticks out too far in contrast.
But it aint my bike so it doesn;t matter what I think of it.
