- After a tip off about a store stacked with vintage adidas SHOWstudio contributor and creator of the adidas Originals x SPEZIAL range Gary Aspden put together a team of adidas fanatics - Ian Brown, Robert Brooks and Mike Chetcuti - to travel to Buenos Aires. Photographer Neil Bedford and filmmaker Greg Bond documented the trip. The documentary launches exclusively on SHOWstudio.

I absolutely enjoyed watching this video today. The looks on you guys faces were mint. The old guy must be really proud of his Adidas heritage after owning that store for over 30 years. I have just viewed the video in which you all return to honour the deal you made to him. You guys returning face to face with handfuls of new products shows how much the first visit meant to you guys. You each make me very proud to be a lifelong fan of Adidas footwear and clothing. que historia.mas increible me acuerdo que mi padre me compraba zapatillas adidas originals cuando viajaba a buenos aires tengo el recuerdo de las fotos de la revista el grafico y los uniformes ochenteros en originals recien me entero que ya no se fabrica en argentina adidas es mas que una marca es un simbolo dentro de todas las culturas urbanas y deportivas

I have a passion with retro sneakers and i started to collecting but later i saw a few of them fallin apart. It was heartbreaking and i stopped collecting them and trying to wear each pair cause want to enjoy them.

I'm 42 this year got my first pair of Adidas aged 14 from a shop in Osnabruck on a German exchange with school. A pair of black campus. The shops then were like sports direct now nowt fancy, nothing flash it wasn't destroyed by fashion victims like today. Those European type stores are the thing of dreams now, boxes and boxes of stock just stacked up no bells or fuck all, a shoplifting paradise
I served in Osnabruck with the British Army in mid 80’s. Shops were sound then . Especially Marco Polo store 👍

What they don't mention is that those shoes were made in Argentina. I grew up in Bolivia in the 80;s and although you can also get the German product most of my friends would prefer the Argentinian because of the quality of the leather and some twist they made to the original design. Now we have Chinese and Vietnamese crap that you throw away after a couple of months use.
