Hi Everyone! In today's video, I showcase my latest version of Blue Flare, which got me 1st place at my local tournament! I talk about my matchups, the cards I like & dislike and of course, showcase the full deck. I hope you all enjoy.

Kinda late comment, but, did you encounter any "cannot reduce play cost" rookies? If so, how do you deal with them? cause everybody in my locals plays those and (in my case) just completly shuts down the deck.

Yeah thats probably the biggest issue for this deck. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do against those rookies unless you bounce them back to hand, but that doesn't really solve the issue. I didn't encounter them in my tournament run.
I saw you today at the mana vortex tournament, I played your blue flare deck and it went really well, just change sourai for ice wall I have been shy, I would have liked to greet you.

If you are cutting the ukkos and the rookies felt fine why not add the deckergreymon? Digivolve on top of that free metalgreymon from supreme connection and still have room and memory for a metalgaruru or some other level 6 or like you said space for level 7s.
I just don't think Deckergreymon does enough in the current game state, kind of forces you into playing Deckerdramon to get the most out of it but I'm not sure if that's even worth it? Might be better to just play EX4 MetalGreymon, just so we have a bit more consistency there

In the next few weeks I'll try my build with an Octomom tech. I give my opponent a token or two to sit on, so they cannot sit on a rookie and hide in raising until they start swinging.

Blue flare was great in bt10. The support that came out was a major downside. I get it was going for the twilight mix but, the fact the new blue grey was basically twilight only and the new metalgrey was limited to bluegrey a thing we didn't have many of and didn't want to play really hurt it. If support is coming out it needs to support it's type not another or be ok at both not the opposite.
All the new greymon needed was it's inherited to say greyknightsmon or blue flare in traits and it would be worth it but that's not what we got.

I have a question, do you feel that 4 Sourai is really necessary in the deck?
I mean, I don't really feel too comfortable with that card, but Idk with what card I could replace it.
I played with it at two and went 3-1 at my Evo cup. I'm going back to 3 minimum.
If you are not liking the azulongmon run a dianamon! that card has absolutely overperformed in my testing
Maybe i'll try it out! I kinda like the Azulongmon ACE due to the blast digivolve, but I'll look into that next time.
If you play the supreme why not play metalgreymon X anti? It’s another target if you already have the metalgreymon.
Definitely could, just not sure how I feel about Metal X in this version. Feels like we already have good OTK potential due to Greymon +1 Sec & Mailbird's jamming, but perhaps it's something to test.
Your wrong about Blazing, its had an errata, the adding 2 to hand is a "You may"
It’s a “you may” in a sense you either get something or not. You cannot choose to not grab a tamer if that’s your only valid tamer to then play it out.
@@TonyPino18 i see, guess I'm used to the more recent cards having "Then" to denote order. Looking at the rules i guess "1-3-7.
Unless otherwise specified, a single effect is performed in the order described on the card."

God awful, the worst deck, not even worth thinking about, in fact when you get to locals just put it in the bin and don't play. 0/10 :)
@@VortexTCG sounds about right. I didn't think I had jamming on Kimera btw, I just forgot that I'd still get a swing with more DP after overflow
How do I beat your deck?
Avoid putting two digimon on the board, remove the MetalGrey's when you can & build up your tamer/options ready for your massive swing turn.

Not sure what you mean? GR Leeds is my locals and we've had one blue flare player since bt14 started and he only had an ok run on it. Before then I can't remember it causing problems
