Answering your question in the video: Yes, Ken is a genius.
Gary Thain... Just an amazing bassist in my opinion.
Best lineup Gary Thain....such a great bassist. Great songwriting great vocals & harmonies.
All Top of the Pops, in England, were lip syncing
Thanks for posting. What a great band they were, the best line-up with Thain and maestro Byron
David Byron, YES !
Greatest heep line up ken said it was the golden years. I saw them many times in 70s magnificent voices and harmonies..stoned yeah good. Hahahah Greatest band band I'd ever seen live .i seen untold band's...really good band's but heep were unique..love them .thanks for showing that clip .RIP ken David Lee and gary ..🙏🎹🎸🎶🎵
👏👏👏👏👏 Brasil
Thanks for posting; very cool stuff. I was at that concert at the Auditorium in "72". It was the only concert where I saw a big-time band play a song twice, which was, in fact, "Easy Livin'. It was always a bonus to see concerts there (or Aragon Ballroom) versus the bigger acts at Chicago Stadium or Amphitheater, where the sound was never good bouncing around off the concrete.
The song is called ”The Wizard”, from the Demons and Wizards album.
Can’t wait to see Uriah Heep doing THE WIZARD live in your studio.
Thank You looking forward to more heep
......still waiting on The Wizard!!!!
I knew Ken Hensley back in the 70s and early 80s when he was a representative for St. Louis music company on Ferguson Avenue in Pagedale, Missouri. Would see him a few times because I knew a girl that worked there great guy.. laid-back quiet
Thanks for posting man, looking forward to hearing “the Wizard” live in Chicago
Lip syncing is normal in tv, even these days. Doesnt mean they were Milli Vanilli😂
Thank you! Looking forward to hearing more about Uriah Heep
wow great to hear the great Gazza Thain
Just seen it, thank you❤
Thank you!!👍
Never thought I'd hear Gary THain talk!
The best Uriah heep.
Oops, sorry about twisting the name. Demons and wizards.
I must still be high
Don't feel so bad. Roger Dean, who designed the cover art for Heep's iconic album, did the same thing in the Hensley Years documentary.
@@vtaro5354 thanks for that
This one goes up to eleven.......
Fair to say, in all likelyhood.
Uh..... demons and wizards.
☮
I liked their Charles Dickens inspired name. That's all.
