for some reason i dont have any files after mods>update>x64>dlcpacks other than EUP and SUP, got a fix for that or can i just make the files from there?

the only problem I have with LSPDFR atm is that I cannot get OpenIV to install at all, all links are broken and I get an unsupported protocol message every time I hit download. That's on the official site and GTA Mods. Is there somewhere to find 4.0 or a different install link? Or can I attempt to do everything without OpenIV?
EDIT: I have tried on Opera Gx and Edge.

It’s an amazing tutorial but 1 thing is if you don’t have the trainers you can just do in console
Give_weapon pistol and you will get it with 6k rounds for free

Additional note:
You can literally use OpenIV to copy the directory of the patchday itself instead of the entire update folder (which you can if you use OpenIV to make a mods folder, then make it to where you cant edit out of it and then copy the directory after opening it.) I just tried it with this exact mod and it works perfectly. Instead of effectively doubling the games size, you can just use the exact directory.
appreciate you trying to help us save some space on our hard drives. but this was pretty confusing, im not sure at what point during the tutorial i should deviate from what hes doing and do what you're saying. or is your method completely independent and not after any of the steps he done in the video?
@@NoOneInParticular88 I explained it pretty horribly but basically:
-Make a mods folder if you haven't already
-Select the option that only allows edits to the mod folder and restricts edits to the main directory
-Navigate to updates/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf in the main directory
-Open it and select "Copy to Mods Folder"
-Proceed with regular installation from 5:23 onward

you can ignore that message, nothing bad will happen if you continue to use winrar. just close that popup window an you'll be just fine.

I installed it it works perfect but when I go on first person mode my aim is a a lil off. like I would aim and shoot at something but the bullet would land in a different place, usually above where I tried to aim. Any help???

Hey man, I followed all of your steps, but I can't seem to replace the default pistol model in my game. I've done this installation 3 times but I still can't get my glock in the game. Any idea why this is happening?

Go to online change your aim from simple to the other option and then it should run if your on pc idk why but it works hope this helped

You prob opened the update folder thats in your mods folder and the one inside the mods folder only has patchdays that you have copied into it you gota open the update folder thats in the GTA 5 folder
