Can it be used in an 2016 lexus 300h GS , because mine got built-in DVD player but but it won't connect to any apple car play ?

I found one of these on the sidewalk came home and searched on CZcams and found your video about what it is and it’s ridiculously unnecessary because if you have an apple phone and you have a newer car like I do your phone automatically connect to it and I can watch any video or listen to any song on CZcams or the Internetwithout needing this box

Yes. That's what I do. Make sure you have hot Spot turned on 😉
OK, this might be a bit of a stupid question, as I don't yet have a car with the Android Auto feature. Does this work along side the handsfree phone. IE can you use this at same time as having your phone attached by bluetooth for handsfree calls?
You need an android auto and Yes you can use this by Bluetooth to make phonecalls

You need to go to settings and find your hotspot. One you connected it will remember your device as long as you have your hotspot turn on

I bought one and just set it up in my MG4 X Power. Plugged into the Android Auto USB socket. Only issue so far is that after turning car on I can't see how to bring it up on screen unless I unplug and plug back in. Any ideas?

@DariuszTech when you restart your car how does the MMB home screen come up? Does yours come up automatically?
I'm currently using the MMB box in my Nissan Leaf, while my wife drives the MG4. Unfortunately, we've faced software issues, resulting in two updates for the non-functional Android Auto. Still not solved.Hoping to address these concerns during my visit to MG next week, where the cruise control issue will also be addressed. Overall, the purchase has left me dissatisfied; even the keyless entry door handles aren't working, highlighting MG's poor service.
Yes I'm having the same issue . When the car powers on it won't load onto the info screen. Have to unplug and replug the usb for the android box to appear on the screen.

It's ok. As I had a few issues. Both keyless entries stopped working. The android auto, cruise control doesn't work. MG service is pretty bad as I have been waiting to get this fixed under the warranty for over 3 months. The MG5 was more reliable

Do you know what impact it has on the battery having something like this plugged in constantly?
I don't think this will have any impact on the battery. When I was testing this box it was running for over an hour and got a bit warm but no overheating

There's such a small input from this tiny device as it won't affect the battery

Shit it works great.I ordered mine it was coming from China so I thought it was bullshit because they didn’t reply to my emails but it finally shipped out and I got it 2 days ago it works fine on my 2019 Charger scat pack just the price is high as hell🥲
A quick question about your mg4 people are saying you can only use one smart phone for setting the pre warming ect. Have you had any issues like this, 👍👍
Sadly it's true. I have tried to log in on my wife's phone so she could use the pre heating but it only works on my phone.

I think it's the same problem with all ev's . Someone really needs to sort that out. It would only need a software update on the car,👍

Hi mate, I’ve bought this box, have you found a workaround for the way the box always switches to itself whenever a message or something happens on my phone?
If I’m listening to the normal radio and I get a text it will switch to the box and turn my radio off!!
My ottocast doesn’t do this!

Does anyone know how to set the time on this box - without having to be online??
I find that unless it is online connected to your phone hotspot or similar it shows a wrong time starting from 08:00 which is REALLY annoying!
You need to go settings and change the region for the county you are currently in. I had the same problem
@@DariuszTech thanks for your comment. I know how to do that. That's not my problem with it. What I mean is that it always has to be online otherwise it shows a wrong time.
When you have selected your time zone the time will only show correctly when the unit is online. I do not need it to be online all the time.. my Internet connection is not unlimited.
That's what I am saying.
It is very annoying that it need to be online just for the time to be correct!
As the MMB box is connected directly to your phone you need to use your data to have the real time. I know it's a bit annoying

Yes. Still need to login in order to watch all the movies. However if there are any other free apps available on the play store you can download any of them.
