Can this scanner reset the tpms?
Noticed it does not work on a number of cars. Tried it on a Toyota Highlander 2014 and a 2002 Toyota Camry. "Unable to establish Communication. Verify the connection at the DLC" Any suggestion?
it depends on what your trying to do some stuff like ABS wont work on certain brands a lot of brands have locked features that only the high end scanners ( 500+ ) can unlock ford can be the same way as well i know honda is the same with ABS and some other features, if u cant do anything with the obd2 maybe it needs updated via pc or wifi its hard to give a good answer without being their seeing what its doing
I've had this one for about a year now, and it's never gave me the option to look up abs. I can only choose global. Any ideas why?

I bought this and have a 2010 IS 250 AWD ASB- What if you have a push start and my battery is completely dead? Does it still read anything? I don't want to tow my car if I don't have to. I also don't want to get ripped off by a mechanic, that's why I bought it. Any suggestions?? It's been very cold in Seattle. My battery is 3 yo old but according to the warranty it should last longer. , but I had work done on my car and apparently they didn't tighten up the battery terminals. I didn't notice it when the battery went dead. I had to have it jumped at least 4 x. The 4th guy noticed that the connection was not tightened enough. He tightened it and I didn't have a problem since except for now that the weather cold. Also, i only drive my car once a week. Could any of these factors be the cause of the dead battery?? What does it mean if it is completely dead? UGGGHHH!!
i recommend getting this so if your battery is ever dead you can jump it on the spot and for the ob reader if your battery is 100% dead then it wont work sadly amzn.to/3FKrEML

Communication error is because your vehicle is not a GM and is not equipped with ABs
