My battery started going bad. Low voltage was a result as well. The cars oil temps went up crazy high, the car bogged down when i tried to accelerate. This made me start to look into these grounding kits. I'm not so sure on the selling point about adding or getting back lost hp, but i see the science behind the idea and that in theory these should improve voltage to sensors, fuel injectors etc... And by doing so should give some performance gains. Even if it's just a little.
I tell people to think of it as a extra step to ensure your car is 100% before tune day. Just like doing a compression test and boost leak test, it’s nice to have the added insurance having that part. You can always vouch to make it at home I just promoted this product because it comes already assemble so less work on the owners end. On a boosted 3.8T this actually helped gain a additional 8hp which was super surprising. All because of bad manufacture grounds

Ive been having this intermitted issue where my Gennie wont go past 2.5kRPM, I find myself having to turn the car off then turning it on without starting the engine to recalibrate the throttle body to fix the issue. I also just installed a headunit/amp/speaker set and I was receiving a alternator whine through the speakers. Ive put a band aid for the noise by adding a ground noise isolator between my rcas and amp. Im wondering if you think the overall issue may be bad grounds?

I just recently bought the lambda ground kit, hoping the installation will be about the same as this one. I got worried when I noticed it looks like it only has 3 mounting points in the picture instead of 4 like on the 3point8 kit. Oh well, too late now lol. I'm sure since its sold by btr its decent quality.
So labmda ground kits are basically 3point8 ground kits lol
The extra ground doesn’t do much. But it’s still better to have more ground points on any chassis.

But yeah no matter what that ground kit will function 100% the same as 3point8 boss

Will the mounting location on the intake manifold still work if you have the plastic manifold that the 13-14 2.0s have?
On the 13-14 no. You can either mount it on the throttle body bolt (which I would do) or another pre existing ground on the chassis

I’m my own vendor. My page is still being worked on but I do work on a lot of Texas gens. In fact I’ve touched the majority of local gens here when it comes to after market parts upgrade / trouble shooting.

Bought one, waited a month and a half and never received it or got a refund. Not too sure what’s happening with the company, but that’s about what’ll you should expect if you buy one currently.
People buy them from me directly now since I work with another company that sells them. 3point8 performance is out of business last time I checked but their site is still up taking orders.
@@ProdigePerformance Didn't think they closed down, when I looked them up it shows their shop is still open, and their website even got updated and renewed.

Nice video! I keep getting a P0071 code for ambient air temperature sensor that goes away and comes back on its own smh i changed the sensor but it stills happens I’m hoping this will fix it
Did this fix it? Mines doing the same thing and I’m thinking this will fix it.
@@o8582 no I turns out I had the changed my radio and forgot to put the ground with back on so it was making my car throw a code

@@Steven_Bo1 yeah I have to make a updated video, ever since the owner passed it’s been a shit show trying to get products from them. That’s why I started making my own leashes / ground kits / porting / manifold risers and work with someone else to get stuffed turbos
@@ProdigePerformance would you happen to know the new owner personally maybe you could reach out for me? This situation has impacted my life greatly due to my only vehicle being down. I’ve spent almost thousands on Ubers to get to work and get my daughter to preschool. I was asking her if I could pay extra to get it expedited and sooner than 2 weeks because even that was pushing it for me since it would mean my only source of transportation would be down and there’s no buses in my area, and she said she’ll try. Not once did she mention there’s was a chance of it arriving late and now 4 months later this is where we are… all I’ve gotten from her is the machine shop is behind and there’s is absolutely no way of getting even an approximate ETA from them. Which doesn’t make any sense they are using a machining show that takes 6 months to machine a turbo… I just want it to end man. Please make a video soon so hopefully she can realize how much of an issue this is for people and maybe she can get it together… I assume that is why her Instagram comments are turned off, I can’t be the only one struggling with this problem. anything you can do to help man i would greatly appreciate. I literally got fired from my job for being late to much because of Ubers canceling last second on me and now it’s looking like I won’t even get my $1200 or however much it was back, which for me is a substantial amount of money as I’m a single dad in my early 20’s, I had FINALLY saved up for after years of inquiring with her about it. And now it’s starting to seem like I got scammed. Crazy how she’s impacting Dustin’s legacy like this, it’s sad. Please help.

@@ProdigePerformance that’s another problem the card I used to pay is the most shitty card ever through my old job. It doesn’t even have a chip if that gives you an idea and they are about impossible to get ahold of but I’m gonna try again on Monday. The order was for a bk2 stuffed turbo as my turbo went out so I figured it was the perfect time to finally upgrade it and she said it would still work as a core replacement despite it being blown. I haven’t sent it yet, I chose the option to send it after and get a reimbursement
