Loved how relax you were throughout the entire video, it was so calming!It was a great idea to organise everything in little baskets, I'm going to steal that idea for my own house.I can enjoy some alone-time as well when my husband is on a business trip, then we have the chance for some ME-time.There's nothing wrong with it although I love it when he walks through our frontdoor and I see his face and how much I missed him!

I thought I was bad stocking up on washing liquids, softeners, air fresheners and cleaning products. I just ran down and showed my husband your stash and said now there are worse cleaning product hoarders then me 🤣🤣🤣. House is looking amazing x

As a high end interior designer myself, I would recommend that you stick with medium and light tones of grey for the kitchen. A dark central island will be very heavy on the space which is so lovely, light and airy at present. Ceiling to floor sheer white drapes would accentuate the height at the back and look grand. Avoid white as a wall paint finish and go for F&B Cornforth White instead. Would also keep the island worktop it's clean and beautiful. But it depends on the mood you're going for which obviously, I don't know!
This is literally the best way to go to sleep. Soooo relaxing. Me time to me definitely includes watching your videos 💕
Hey Lydia an idea for the Dining Room carpet..... Have you thought of getting Flor Carpet tiles, they are square tiles that are pieced together to make any size. That is what I am doing for my weirdly shaped Living Room. Some of there designs are a little crazy, but they're coming out with a lot of subtle, tone on tone neutral designs. They are much more affordable than a custom rug, and you can buy extras and replace them if you get any stains you can't remove- good for the Dining Room.
Hey Lydia, this looks amazing. If you ever wanted to use labels but hide them to keep it chic, you should could always use the trick of putting the labels on the top of the shelf and then sliding the baskets over the top of them (to hide the labels- but you can still move them back to remember/see where everything is :)). Looks beautiful though, you go girl! xx
Lydia on the 300x300 rug. See if you can get a custom size rug cut from broadloom carpet from a home carpeting place. Maybe they can finish raw edges or know someone who would and cut to any size and they might have more selection and probably better quality then most area rugs.

I’m struggling with finding a larger rug too but have ended up getting carpet binded round the edges MUCH more affordable and chose the perfect carpet ❤️

Great video! Re credit card situation; have you considered installing a phone pay app on your phone? So that basically you wouldn’t have to worry about having your cards/wallet with you as long as you have your phone. Only that it’s charged;)

Hi Lydia. Love the content. Our family is in flooring in Canada and when we can't find a suitable rug we choose a luxurious broadloom and have it custom bound. Some clients have accents cut in etc. Good luck😊🇨🇦❤️

Perfect fit “made to measure” blinds are really good, they are so neat without any cords etc you will still be able to open your doors to the garden, without having to remove them (which is easy to do, when you need to) and they look part of the frame. You can hang them up or down, meaning you can pull them up from the floor or down from the top. I have shutters too, and love them, and both work well together in one room.

Ohhh, a weekend alone is so so nice. Don’t know what it is, but being alone makes it fun to organize and get things just so. I have a P-touch label maker and nothing is safe from it. Always happy to see Lumi and Lynx. ❤️🐈❤️🐈 PS the natural woven rug off the kitchen is a nice neutral that will be super versatile with any colors.

Have you ever thought about having a carpet store make you a rug out of carpet. You could do grey with a light grey stripe around the perimeter and then the original grey as the outer perimeter stripe. That is what I am doing for my dining room rug because I don't what a print patterned rug but rather solid with a Greek key insert around the edge. Love your dressing room. Best dressing room evah and that includes some of those Kardashian closets.

I used to have a laundry rack that came down from the ceiling on a pulley - it was the best one, esp for a utility.
Hi Lydia, if you find a carpet that you like you can get it made in to a rug, just ask the company to do it to the size you require and they can edge it. If you struggle my dad owns a carpet business and I know they can do it xx

Maybe someone already mentioned this, but you may want to put felt pads on the bottom corners of the baskets, so they won't scratch the shelves. And they will slide nicely when you pull them forward too. Love your videos! :)
