Hey where is the video of you guys visiting the volume?? I've tried to find it to watch it again but it isn't on either of your channels. Was it a guest appearance on a different channel?
"How is he able to think when his brain is in another location?"
"Oh yeah."
"how can your body be in 2 places at the same time?"
You can tell he's lost his mind
It would still be functional.
In his mind he’s thinking “shut up it’s a great movie don’t question its wisdom”
“The Cabin in the Woods” has a scene where dozens of monsters attack real people at once I would like to see how they juggled all that.
Do the KOTOR (Knights of the old republic) trailer please
they already did in one of their previous episodes
Skylanator Mann awesome do you know which one?
A horror movie-themed version of this would be cool. There were some pretty bad effects in some of the original Friday The 13th Movies lol
Watch Dead Meat's kill count video on The Cabin in the Woods towards the end of the video during that scene he shows and explains how they shot that scene. Really cool
The mandalorian in the intro: I sleep
"Oh hi mark." : *W O T*
Oliver S. Baby Yoda waves
That's probably the true creative genius of the makers of The Room: you're so focused on the....acting....that you don't pay attention to whether the effects are any good or not.
In Call Of Duty WWII, there’s a section in a forest scene where a character says that he will stay behind to hold off the enemies. It’s raining, dark, there’s a lot of people, but one scene stood out to me. When that character dies, it shows his body in the mud with the rain running down his skin and his glossy eyes staring into space. It looked amazing.
Edit: It was The Battle Of Hurtgen Forest. Basically the entire last cut scene looked great
Advanced Warfare had some really great looking CGI cutscenes. The one scene where Michael Ironside goes to speak to his guys while having a drink looks really, good for one.
Halo 2 Anniversary cutscenes look really good as well.
YourCasualGamer
Sure thing
czcams.com/video/ni5xP0hLTPQ/video.html
It’s around 17:00
Wren: "How is he able to think when his brain is teleporting?"
Sam: "Oh yeah"
hhahahahahaha
that made me chuckle for sure.
normie: wait... how does this work?
Anime: yes.
That part made me laugh
For people who are interested, Gantz is a manga which priors to the story of dead people were brought back to life in exchange of bounty hunting/killing aliens or other species. It also records and reviews the score of your performance as well. If you get a score of 100, you can choose to be free or more powerful weapons.
Whats interesting about first witcher movie - In the interview after many years, one of the cgi guys who made the dragon said that they didnt have internet connection, so they had to figure out how to do this stuff by themselves.
Also producers wanted the dragon to look like that instead of more realistic one xD
And of course they didnt have enough money.
Whats more, after this movie there was embargo on fantasy and sci-fi movies in poland - when someone with that kind of idea came to the producers, they was just sacking them out.
My „uncle” had a big role in making VFX for that movie and he doesnt accept the fact that people call those effects bad.
Like theres a scene where the rocks are falling of the mountain and he swears to god that for what they had to work with its a marvel all those effects where made at all.
IMO either he isnt good at accepting critique or they had really amazingly shitty computers to work with.
@@lupsik1 Siema
@@lupsik1 It was year 2000. The average home computer from that era had a 32MB of RAM and 10GB of HDD. No more than 20% of households in Poland even had a computer. Basically no one had an internet. So yeah, they had pretty shitty computers. But that's not the real issue.
Kingsajz is another Polish movie form 1987 with excellent special effects, that mostly hold up even today, and not a single computer was used during production.
The real problem with polish Witcher was a horrible production design, or more probably a lack of thereof. Most of this stuff looks like it was made ad hoc, and it probably was.
This is not the way you shoot a challenging movie.
Also they had a staggering budget of 477 000 $ per episode. To put it into perspective, they made a fantasy series, with a running time comparable to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, for 6 mln $. LOTR in the same time had a total budget of 283 mln $. If you make something for less than 2% of what state of the art would have cost - it's gotta be shitty.
considering all that it doesnt look bad. Its better than most 2000's cgi ive seen in tv or movies around that time. Nowadays things look so good everything is simulated artists have more freedom to do the art part and not just grindy meticulous work anymore.
@ZAKARION japa makaronie
Gantz: O is the best entirely CG movie that almost no one talks about. So dope.
Its just not that memorable or exciting 🤷🏻♂️
It's a popcorn movie, pretty fun but not too memorable imo
Shame the manga's ending is so scuffed
The real crime is how old the manga is and they've never heard of it.
Toy story '95
Cinematic Trailer:
-Death Stranding cinematic trailer
-Assassins Creed Origins
-Dishonored 2 trailer
Assassins Creed Revelations trailer. The absolute best.
Yes Dishonored 2 trailer is amazing ! (I mean the "live action" one)
@@iz723 AC Brotherhood, too.
If there is one assassin's creed trailer they they should react to, it's the Unity TV spot. Still can't figure out how Arno dodges this sword blow
Death Stranding would be great. That game has the most realistic looking faces imo.
it's crazy. Video games were always trying to look more like movies my whole life, and now movies are using video game technology to look better.
Seeing how they make the Mandalorian actually makes me wish I were a filmmaker... That looks fun
Halo 3: ODST - "We are ODST" trailer
Halo Reach - "Remember Reach" trailer
Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights of the eternal throne - "Betrayed" trailer
basically every cinematic in halo 2 anniversary no?
YES SWTOR
The Netflix series "Love, Death, and Robots", any of the episodes honestly
yes
Also yes
mostly "sonnys edge" and "aquila rift"
Aquila Rift would be awesome
I just found out that Blur Studio made this. They're probably my favorite CGI animation studio so I'm definitely going to watch it now.
I like how they said the Mandalorian has a small budget. HAHAHAH
to Disney, it is a pretty small sum of money yet one of Disney's largest ROI other than the Marvel Avengers Franchise
I think it’s funny they thought they went for the puppet because they couldn’t afford CGI. Just Lol to that. It was absolutely an artistic choice and I’m so glad they did it this way.
They baby yoda is perfect as an animatronic puppet.
A small freaking $2M !! Per episode..!!
John Bhennie Pascual That’s pretty small for something this big. Game of Thrones was 10 mil.
@@colinjensen8303 Man, GoT wasn't throwing 2m per episode in Season 1
As a game developer, I'm really proud how game tech is influencing literally every other medium.
VFX review request:
- Any Blizzard cinematic ;
- Star Wars: The Old Republic cinematics ;
- Warframe's new intro cinematic ;
Especially WoW and Overwatch.
the Heart of the swarm opening cinematic would be great
I second the SWTOR cinematics.
Do the starting cinematic of legacy of the void, the one where they are coming to auir
Well, basically polish "The Hexer" had two things:
- completly first-time ever VFX crew, without any experience
- basically no budget for any effects
Honestly, Netflix "Witcher" looks like they had no budget for effects either. Of course, we are now spoiled by GoT dragons and white walkers, but creatures in "Witcher" make 1996 "Dragonheart" look good.
Well whats great now is that since the show was so well received, budget for season 2 ought to be bigger. Lets hope at least!
You forgot to add:
- people actually walking out of the cinema after those scenes ;)
@@BTMPL I didn't watch "The Hexer" in cinema, but looking on movies from that year, well. Peoples walking out cinema sounds plausible, as "The Hexer" effects looks not so great even in 2001 standards.
@@origamichik3n Bit of an overstatement. Have you seen Dragonheart lately?
I've seen Gantz:0 like 10 times. It's on netflix if anyone wants to watch
especially oka hachiro fighting
That stage from the Madalorian absolutely blew my mind!! That’s absolutely incredible!!😍
You guys have to check out “Love, Death & Robots”
One of the best series I have ever watched and best CGi scenes.
Fotis Ioakim Ooh yes I’d love to see them react to some of those episodes
Yeah, they need to check out the werewolf parts.
Yes
I came here to say this
It's great watching the Corridor Crew kids with their aging vfx technology and techniques and endless "clever observations about lighting" (yawn) learn from genuinely pioneering vfx tech with Unreal Engine on The Mandalorian. It's like kids with their nerf gun meeting real soldiers!
You guys HAVE to react to the Batman vs Deathstroke cinematic scene from Batman: Arkham Origins.
The cgi is GREAT and so is the fight scene!
Edit: Btw i've bought one of your corridor crew hoodies.
Premium quality shit right there.
That's honestly the batman movie I want
Bic Somsaart that’d be dope
@@donte2247 Basically that was the Ben Affleck's Batman movie that was canceled after the failure of justice league. Deathstroke was meant to be the main villain in his script.
Also the Arkham Knight - Announcment Trailer
The Mandalorian set at 5:18 is so cool to see the behind the scenes of the show
I'm so glad I randomly came across this Corridor Crew episode. The first time I saw GANTZ:O I knew it was something special, I immediately shared it w/an effects/makeup friend that also does creature creation, & that somehow makes it even better to see how much these guys love it, haha, birds of a feather...
Dude, the filming technique of the Mandalorian show is mind blowing! You get the reflections accurate as well as more realistic lightning. Also, the actor don't have to pretend anymore! They can get more idea how to feel in a certain situation. Also, The CGI Yoda puppet fooled me! I thought it was puppet. It really looked convincing lmao.
Leave it to Star Wars to once again be a leading pioneer. That combination of ideas and technology made my jaw drop.
Halo 2: Anniversary Edition cinematics! SO GOOD
Yessss!
Special emphasis on "Giving the covenant back their bomb" The destruction of that cruiser is a masterpiece.
@@GamingPro-py8vt agreed
The Mandalorian Unreal set up reminds me of Ray Bradbury’s short story ”The Veldt” about a simulation nursery that moves beyond realism...
My favorite game cinematic has to be the intro to Descent Freespace...that or any of the intro cinematics to the MechWarrior games. They're absolutely timeless.
I fucking love your videos dude!!
You guys should definitely react to Star Wars: The Old Republic cinematic trailers. They’re great
THIS
Yes
This
100% They represent what could be for star wars. It's a crying shame they never made an animated series on the old republic with this style and quality. they could release this show in theaters and id watch it.
Please do. I love then
I think a good option would be "Love, Death, and Robots"
Episodes 1, 7, 10-13, 16, 18
Yes!!!
Offfffff that 7th episode man!!! It was so good!! I was so confused and so amazed!
Love the simple yet efficient idea of projecting a game engine like Unreal and capturing it as a real time background along with the action. You guys must be stocked for Unreal 5
The movie Spy with Melissa McCarthy: final action scene when the villian falls out of the chopper and into the water
Fun fact on The Mandalorian: They were originaly going to go with the puppet and also did the same takes without it for a cg stand in, to hedge their bets. The first scene Warner Hersog did with the baby yoda, he was smitten. Then they went to do the same scene with out the animatronic, and warner asked "What are you doing." to Filoni. The then explained what they were doing, and Warner said "You are cowards. Leave it. Leave it!"
www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/mandalorian-why-werner-herzog-called-jon-favreau-a-coward-1254941
"Dishonored" cinematic trailer
"Deus Ex Human Revolution" cinematic trailer
I personally like the Mankind Divided Trailer more, because the perfectly fitting music.
Yes! I thought about Deus Ex HR too!
up!
yes to both of these so much
Gantz is one of my favorite mangas and I love the movie, so it was awesome seeing you guys react to it!
The guy sitting on the leftmost side of the couch, has become my favourite
"Batman: Arkham Origins" cinematic trailer is phenomenal.
Yes it is. One of the best
I was thinking about that too. You guys should also react to clips from shadow of war. Particularly, they did a great job with the Ringwraiths and the balrog.
One of the greatest game scenes I’ve ever witnessed is in Halo reach, when Jorge drops Noble 6 from space to manually detonate the bomb on the covenant ship
Liked the one where Kat eats it as well, some more skeptical happening. Though those are generally great.
Or Halo 2 when Chief bombs through the space battle with the big as covenant nuke and fifas it into the Cruiser
bro i legit fucking cried after that. its so fucking sad
I recommend checking out some of the Final Fantasy 14 trailers. It might not be a huge blockbuster game, but the work on it is phenomenal. The Shadowbringers Trailer is one of my favorite game trailers of all time. I don't know if it counts as CGI or not, but you would probably enjoy it.
Essentially shooting your scenes inside of a videogame is such an ingenious solution to so many problems, I'm stunned that there aren't a million other popular examples. I guess it probably helps being THE biggest selling point on Disney's dedicated streaming service, being able to get the best of the best people to make the best of the best technology the best of the best.
Any of the Star Wars: The Old Republic trailers/cut-scenes
Was going to comment this. Here's a link to some clips czcams.com/video/nfjWANrhl5g/video.html
Yes please I’ve asked this every episode
THIS
GAME CINEMATIC!
The Halo 2 Anniversary “Day at the Beach” Cutscene would be great to look at.
I would also like to see the crew check out a video a fan made called ‘Halo There - Master Chief vs General Grevious’ by | SoldierSide I
i would of gone with his motivational speech in H2A
I came here to suggest H2A also I'm glad others agree
The whole of Halo 2 Anniversary would be great to look at
Tentacle Farmer Literally any of the Halo 2A cinematic cutscenes would be good.
Yes! Best scene in halo
If you want to give Witcher another chance, try reacting to the "A Night to Remember" cinematic trailer for the third game. It's fully CG and EXTREMELY well made and I feel like you guys could give some insightful commentary on it.
Hey guys love what you do! Huge Fan!!! I love the way you guys breakdown the CG effects and show how everything is done. Awesome and I love Stuntmen/women reaction videos. I was wondering if you guys have ever done a CG artists reactions to the Opening of Star Trek the next generation? I would love to see that.
How about Pirates 1: Curse of the Black Pearl? Specifically, two scenes: Geoffrey Rush walking into the moonlight, revealing his curse and I can't remember if it's during the dinner scene with Keira Knightley or the same scene but him, as a skeleton, drinking wine.
Both scenes are great, but I think an even better CGI scene in the movie is Jack and Barbossa’s final duel, when they’re both cursed. The way they step in and out of the beams of moonlight while fighting, changing into their cursed forms partially as they do so, was really fantastic.
@@josiahdyck6216 I actually forgot about that!!! Yes that would be an awesome scene for them to look at!!
Haven’t they already done that? I think it’s one of their first ones. I’m not sure
Dude, you've just read my mind! The scene in moonlight omg was soo freaking cool at the time.
@@josiahdyck6216 I forgot how cool that movie looked.
Cinematic Trailer:
"Return" Star Wars: The Old Republic
The cinematic trailers for the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic have some of the coolest lightsaber action I have ever seen. I feel like a CG shooting environment allows for more intense shots and movement than the stuff from the Star Wars movies.
Couldn't agree more. My favorites until this day.
Agreed, better than fights in the movies arguably haha
that dude of the left reminds me how cool was gantz when was a fresh concept with very scarce information about the lore. thanks for the nostalgia trip.
The 2019 Cyberunk 2077 cinematic has some really great CG, especially when V is washing his hands, and just generally with skin stretching and deforming. ;)
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
Bryce Poore omg P L E A S E
y e s .
how about them minotaurs? such a good combo of practical and CG effects
The fist video you reacted "Gantz" i still remember the first time i watch the anime first i was confused but later as i watch more and more episode i began to love it..i really recommend that you watch the anime of this video......the concept is great and the idea that they put on the anime is so great am in love with it so i hope you watch it..i really love anime and this type of the anime is what make most people in love and began to love anime.
Do the scenes in disenchantment when the "camera" rotated around the castle
10:57 game cinematic:
Uncharted 4 dinner scene
No crazy effects, just a flawlessly executed really high quality character scene I wish most modern movies had
ooh if not that Uncharted 4 scene, then Nate and Sam's outfit change during the auction. because there weren't really successful game ways of showing characters changing outfits before that
React to Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights of the Eternal Throne - Betrayed trailer.
And the launch trailers, god they were beautiful
Honestly just do all of them
All of them are stunning
YES
YESSS!!!!
Check out Dredd... Low budget film with hi production and defo needs a sequel.
there's one scene in the video game "Army of Two" that I always love. The scene is (can't remember exactly when in the game happens) when the 2 main character are in a military airport on the air field riding a jeep. that scene (to me) is amazing. Maybe you guys could check it out.
You guys should react to Battle: Los Angeles, it’s the first movie I’ve seen where the cgi is both good and bad, and horrible. Lol, it’s going to be a ride if you guys do react to it.
I'd like to see that as well.
Also: Alita Battle Angel. :P
Yeah, My favorite part was the realism of the aliens coming out of the water through the news camera at the beggining.
@@MasterCrumble They already did that
2019 modern warfare, in-between missions on the campaign, those cut scenes are realistic
For game cinematic look at 'Section 8' Game trailer. It's probably years old now! But I was totally taken away by the trailer back in that. It's graphics. The cinema part of it. And the uber coolness to it 🙌
I wanna know what you think of the Striga in The Witcher netflix series because that's one of my favorite practical/cgi combos in the show.
Corridor crew : game cinematics
Gamers: every game
Y’all should definitely react to the SWTOR trailers, they’re incredible
After such phenomenal cinematics you'd expect the in game graphics to be semi-decent.
yall should react to the witcher 3 “a night to remember” trailer its sooo cool

You should react to “Scott pilgrim vs the world”
Alexander Barbé THIS
Hell yeah
Lol i said that last time lololol

How have they not done this yet?!?
Star Wars: The Old Republic trailer “The Return” has some amazing action and CG that you guys will love.
I feel like the Sacrifice and Betrayed trailers are better quality and it might be better for them to watch those ones but the other ones are still fun to watch.
YES THE OLD REPUBLIC HAS FUCKING GREAT CG!
PLEASE YES. THE ENTIRE SWTOR CINEMATICS
The reason I say “the return” is it has a great behind the scenes video that can be viewed on CZcams, and it could make for some great corridor reactions. m.czcams.com/video/JzU68DEPw1w/video.html
For game effects, I would say Hellblade:Senuas Sacrifice. They used a fascinating combination of animation and live action FMV. The sound design is especially fabulous.
hey Corridor crew, i think for this particular scene, you can analyze it from a stuntman and VFX point of view. love the channel~ thanks
And oldie but a goodie: Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm Opening Cinematic

How about reacting to the visual effects in the original ghostbusters movie?? I recently rewatched it and I've always wanted to know how they made the proton beams and the ghosts look so good. Especially since they used a lot of practical effects it seems.
Also check out the level 3 supers from Dragon Ball Fighterz. Specifically, there’s a CZcams video you can find where it shows the supers *without* the camera movements, so you can see how the models get stretched to deliver the effect of a closeup.

I wouldn’t mind seeing you react to a variety of Final Fantasy cinematics. VIII was the first game (I believe?) to use mo-cap, and it has some very nice VFX scenes (Lunar Cry, Time Compression), but all games have some fancy work put into them.
The Final Fantasy XIV (Online) introduction is one of the best bits of gaming art I have ever seen in my life.
I admit part of it is probably the errily beautiful song but it is soooooo well done as a cinematic.
As a note these days, you have to let the game sit a spell before it goes to this cinematic I am talking about. So worth it though if you haven't seen it.
As far as movies, how about some Bruce Willis love...you would do Die Hard, 5th Element, AND Hudson Hawk all in one bit lol
Throw in his GI Joe movie for extra fun.
Another request would be the newer TMNT movies. And if you've already covered these then my apologies. haven't caught up with every VFX Artist reacts yet! But love your show.
One little correction here: The O in "Gantz:O" stands for Osaka, not 'Zero' (0).
The main characters in the manga, anime and movies never left Tokyo, where their story is set.
Osaka is 300 miles (500 km) away from their usual hunting grounds.

Starcraft 2 Heart of The Swarm Ending | Final Scene Sarah Kerrigan. I think it's REALLY impreessively done. "Gantz" is actually a really really good manga and Gantz: 0 is just a chapter out of it, its weird cause they did some minor re-writing to make it work as a single movie but the manga actually has an excellent story so go read it!
I love Gantz so much the Manga is mind blowing
Yes, the manga is great, it has lost a bit of popularity today but it still has a very strong fan base. In fact, I don't know why the story hasn't been adapted in a video game and the way it unfolds makes it perfect for something like that.
I can't tell you how mad I got cause of how disrespectful they were being towards Gantz lmao
I was like thinking the same thing XD
Not a chapter.it's a full sub arc with little rewriting.
What truly makes LED backgrounds revolutionary compared to green screen, is that your background can accurately light your actors (this is really apparent with the warp clip at 6:22, where the background lights the entire set and everyone on it.)
Thank for reminding me of Gantz:0...downloaded it about 5 years ago and forgot all about it....gonna watch it as my Saturday Matinée this aft.

DC Universe Online Trailers (first is one of the more impressive trailers released for an MMO, and there are two of them)
Gears of War
Injustice 2 reveal trailer
DOOM
We talking about the original Halo 2 or Halo 2 Remastered?
I'm curious how they did some of the effects in Lucy. The breaking down and her eye falling and stuff and how she becomes black void at the end but at times you can see her textured skin and stuff
PLEASE review War of the Worlds scenes! Such as: the initial crackling of the ground, vaporizing of the bodies, the cgi of the alien ship during that whole scene, the alien’s using their [tentacle camera] in the basement scene. I watch this movie every time it’s on :D
