Great Job, I was able to fix my gauge and reset it to zero
In doing this, if the bourdon tube has had some excessive wear, you will need to recalibrate the gauge so that it reads accurately. To do this, you will need a pressure gauge comparator and a digital pressure gauge. Doing what is demonstrated in the video will only reset the zero. Keep this in mind.
Awesome video! This was very helpful, thank you!
Easy to understand and fix. Thank you.
Thanks for information
I like this video -- very intuitive to fix a gauge.
Thanks Tom! I'm glad you liked it.
Remaining step need to be verified by recalibrate
its lovely
Good
basic knowledge, thank you for sharing
Can this be done with a pressure gauge needle dial that doesn't have a screw and needs to be gripped and popped off with a pair of pliers and then pressed back on?
Everything was working fine . I just stoped running
how to reset if it is at 40?
It would need to be calibrated. Or buy a new one if it is about the same price in the long run.
What is the other way of fixing a gauge that is way off?
A pressure gauge like that should be sent to a calibration shop for accurate calibration.
whats the fix if the guage is way off. im showing 90 psi and the guage is not even connected. its liquid filled and no visible adjustment screws. any Ideas. thanks
Daniel Metzger if the lens/ring is removable, lay the gauge on its back ( to preserve the glycerin), remove the lens.
remove the pointer using 2 flathead screwdrivers, aim it at zero, and lightly tap it back down
reinstall lens and ring
done
Is it necessary to also check the span after doing this adjustment?
Rahul Das no
My gauge is at zero, new pressure switch drained tank . I took air pressure down to 15 psi new pressure regulator switch 30-50 I put 27 psi in tank and I’m at zero pressure
❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
