- Santa was trying to catch some sun and destress after some chaotic days of Christmas preparation when Jake from dmaxstore.com came down to the beach with his lady in a LBZ Duramax stuffedinto a 80's squarebody on a Ford 05+ front end and a Sterling 10.5 rear end. Santa naturally investigated!

I've been waiting so long to see more on this truck, hands down my favorite truck, love the square and they did a perfect job I have an 87 crew that needs that transformation, personally I'd rather put the 100k into that than a new truck. Thank you for spotlighting all these amazing trucks, I so look forward to these 12 days every year. Merry Christmas 🎅.

Nice build, gail banks did a video on those types of flat diff covers shortening the life of the pinion/gear due to heat build up. Should change it out to increase longevity of the axles

Love it! Would be a great tow rig! Really cool axle & frame swap! Only one thing I can live without, "Patina" I fukin hate that stupid word! I don't mind a preservation, or dents and scratches, but words like "Rat Rod" and "Patina" are just annoying to me! I live, eat & sleep Cars/Trucks and Motorcycles, but, these terms, I can live without, I know, I'm getting old! But it's age, not Patina! 😅 Really sweet rig! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Great work and great video! Next? And PS Even though I'm a reformed Jeep Sheep 🐑 Let's keep this pickups and Trucks 🛻 The world and CZcams has enough jeeps, it's TRUCK time!

This truck resides in Nevada but it does not require smog even in CA being a diesel truck older than '97

This might be the best 12 rigs season yet! You fix Fords by putting Chevy parts in them and you fix Chevys by putting Ford parts in them!

@@kylescaggskinda seems like it would have been. I solid axle swapped my 95 Tahoe and it was more work than LS swapping it.
@mrsamk5 every single body mount has to be fabricated on both frames regardless and the Ford frame is too wide for the square body.
@@kylescaggsI think the super duty frame is narrower than a Chevy hd frame
