Chris, you should do this to get on your octopus intelligent go tariff.
    1. Buy and install a charger. I use the zappi with a Tesla but ensure it’s fully compatible with octopus.
2.change to the intelligent go tariff. It uses an app to verify that they can see it charging.
That’s it, you don’t need to charge again and you will probably find that the saving on unit price will soon pay for the charger.
As a bonus you will also be fully ready if Swansea see sense instead of being greedy!

For go I didn't need anything, just tick a box to say I own an EV, but my initial Intelligent smart charge failed (due to the delay in getting the app setup), so they may already of had my car registration. For intelligent you need to have a successful communication and charge with the Octopus app, but this only needs to be for a few mins every month. I think you need intelligent for the 15p export. A bit extreme, but could a portable power station be used to charge your car with a granny cable at least once a month?

Oh I am still on a basic granny charger on intelligent because I am renting, you don't need to have one installed. My seat is compatible with intelligent, the same as your tesla is.

You only need to show that you own a EV think they just need reg number and that you intend to keep the vehicle
