Im an ESTP and what he said abiut not asking people a bunch of crap was exactly how i respond to that, lose respect (not true but feels that way) versus do it myself ill almost always do it myself until i get it while pinging smaller things off the tribe
I'm the same type except with Ni at the top. I can confirm I don't think my understanding is ever complete if I don't go over a subject myself and learn it on my own. For example, I'm now more than a month researching every piece of hardware existent to build a gaming PC. I've watched countless videos and seen many more comments saying "I heard from that guy this video card is good", "I bought it because it's what that influencer has", and I'm like "how stupid, you didn't research it piece by piece yourself? How dare you steal someone else's opinions without at least understanding how good they are in fact!". And I think that whether it was a good choice or not, because it's not about getting the thing done, it's about understanding the thing to build self-worth. Yeah, I'm the opposite of practical. But I've been working on my blast (more than a year now), and trying to emulate Te has saved a lot of my energy, while organizing with pseudo-Si has carried me through the hard days where I was immersed in the caos and couldn't see the horizon (trusting the process in an Si way, living day by day, etc)
Me with savior Fi Ne and both being masculine, I HAVE to learn it myself. I HAVE to do it myself. I can look up Te reason's, when i feel like it'll help me, but most of the time it doesnt matter. Ill only Te when im super unsure of myself like spending money on some software. I dont really see myself as super Di because I feel like im more of the CP/S (B) side but I'm just probably not a mope like Cillain.
Tom's fluent speech and ingratiating tone make me think he's using Ne and Fe here. Cillian's ambivalence about being likeable and his minimal speech look like Ni and Fi to me, although I have seen him play Se/Ti very convincingly in The Delinquent Season.

Play and Blast are the extraverted Animals, so people that have one of those last are introverts, irrespective of whether their first function is extraverted. Another example is Brad Pitt, who isn't an ISFP, he is an introverted ESFP.
A key understanding about OP is that extraverted type (Exxx) doesn’t necessarily mean extraverted person/energy overall. (and vice versa for introvert). The animals are what make up extravert/introvert energy in the way people typically think of those terms, but one’s animals still depend partially on their type/functions.
People who use MBTI professionaly is a 🤡. For fun it is fine just so people can understand that human can be so different from each other. But it is way off and innacurate. Big 5 and HEXACO is much much better it give some wiggle room for personality changes in a person.

I see the Ti. But can't see the Ne. Ne is a very visible function.
