@@wojtex46 It is not possible for England to land such a soldier on her own, these must be numbers including colonies.
@@afatsumfira Just I wrote 4million from england alone and almost 5M from british Isles(with Irish). The rest from other colonies mostly Canada, India and Australia at one moment. At the end of war british army alone numbered 3.8M after 4 years of taking massive casualties, not include any colonies. Yes, it's hard to think how within over 20 years from 1st military power on the world after war become puppet of USA and USSR and forced to decolonize.
@@wojtex46 What I'm trying to say is that England, although its capacity was high, was never strong in terms of manpower, there were colony soldiers on fronts such as the Middle East, Africa, Çanakkale.
@@afatsumfira You think why UK and France were so hesitated to stop Hitler and prevent war at any cost. Because of massive mobilization numbered over 10% of population at one time(~34M for england before war) and casualties took from WW1 was such an impact to their society like apocalypse dude. Beginning of the end for both empires and WW2 just speed up things.

Defenders of Europe? You buggered off in 1917 and left the allies to fight another 1 million Germans.
Imagine spending the entire war fighting among your own people, but in the end you win two impossible battles and are on the winners side 🇬🇷

@@cpj93070 Ever heard of a Regular Army? contrasting with irregular forces, such as volunteer irregular militias, private armies, mercenaries, etc. A regular army usually has the following: a standing army, the permanent force of the regular army that is maintained under arms during peacetime. And during the First World War the British had just about 250,000 Regulars and 250,000 Territorials and 200,000 Reservists, this made a total of 700,000 trained soldiers. @@robloxcommandergf8632 Yes at the start of the war there was around 250,000 regulars, but by 1918 Britain had nearly 4 Million soldiers total, so stop trying to claim that Britain's army was the weakest.
