- Our 25th Anniversary Celebrations Master Set Binder is now complete! This set includes the Original 25 cards, 25 Classic Collection cards, 18 Promos, 50 McDonald's cards, and the 2 Metal cards from the Ultra Premium Collection Box.

I am late, but that's the magic of having a video uploaded forever LOL. I just want to thank you that kind of videos. I'm a master set collector in most cases aswell, and I have lots of headaches when going to organize the binder. So having that kind of guides where I can get ideas for my own and get to know those all promos that if weren´t for you I'd never notice them (in Spain we don´t have that general mills one xd) is really cool. I'm so thankfull with the job you do. Just wanna say that :) Keep going!

These special sets take longer since they release promos at two different times usually. Glad I waited to add them in.

It’s odd, the blastoise is the card we continue to pull the most. I think we have 7 and 5 dark gyarados. But we have yet to pull an extra here comes team rocket. Anyways. It looks complete to me. I am glad you added the professor Burnett trainer and the General Mills pikachu. I think many people are ignoring that. I actually kinda wished they added the 25th stamp to the metal cards. They look too much like the cheap metal cards you can buy on eBay/Amazon. I appreciate you sharing the journey and the final product. Keep up the good work. Love it!
Oh… and of course the McDonald’s set!!!! You got them fries in there! Ha! I bought the set as well. I think we were able to get one pack in a meal and then they were gone. We don’t eat or visit McDonald’s so the one pack was enough. I had to buy a box of lucky charms for the General Mills card… once I saw the other cards were just regular bulk… I couldn’t understand why people were going nuts about that. Pokecrazy people. Lol
Yeah, I like it with the extra Pikachu and Professor Burnet as well. 120 cards seems a little more complete than 118. Lol… I actually almost added in the other General Mills cards, but they didn’t have the stamp. And that’s crazy about the Blastoise. I think we pulled Venusaur the most out of the Kanto starters.
Haha it’s the exact opposite for me, I have pulled 9 Ivysaurs and a ton of Here Comes Team Rockets. Would love to trade for a Blastoise if interested!

Hey I recommend the vault x 4 pocket 160 card binder for celebrations! That’s what I use for mine. Good quality with a zipper too!
I’ve heard pretty good things about Vault X. I’ve never used them so I can’t really say how they compare to the Ultimate Guard Zipfolios.
@@MrMewMan VaultX has issues with their pockets. I couldn't fit penny sleeves in one row for all pages.
I actually had this issue with an Ultimate Guard Binder too.

Im glad to see someone else that wanted every single stamp for the master set, the way I did my binder though was in order of color and pokemon number so it looks like a nice set, I have every card except for some of the mcdonalds cards so im getting close!

Only “master set” I’ve seen that’s actually a master set all promo and mc D cards brilliant,I have a full reverse holo set from mc d and the full 2021 set minus gold mew and a fair few of the classics but this video is my goal!!!! GG

Lol, that’s a little excessive with this set in my opinion. We opened a lot less product from this set than what we usually open. Of the big products we opened one UPC, one Pikachu VMAX box, and there ETBs. Even that is enough to get you a lot of the set.

If you're into jumbo cards too, there's the first partner cards for gen1-8 that have the 25th anniversary stamp, and the base set Pikachu that comes with a binder

Don't forget the jumbo copies of a lot of the promos. The jumbos of the chest promos only come in the Amazon Prime collection

im really close to completing this set, only need the holo mcdonalds, luxray gl lv x, xerneas ex and mew ex! also i guess the metal pikachu/charizard, i already have them but want another pair for my deck box of them :)
edit: watching this video made me realize i also needed the general mills pikachu, i opened the sealed pack of one i had and it had the pikachu!!

Thank! You know, I’m not actually sure. We definitely opened a lot less packs than other sets. I think the Zacian boxes gave us the best pulls.

Yeah, those are the only two without the stamp, but they just fit so well only being available in the UPC.

God, I know this vid was released months ago but I need to vent *somewhere* because I don’t really know anyone who’s into Pokémon irl and I myself am a VERY casual collector. Watching your videos is my main outlet for vicariously unboxing Pokemon content, but I pre-ordered 2 celebrations mini tins from my local game store a couple of months ago and I was just able to pick them up yesterday.
As expected, the 2 Darkness Ablaze packs were pretty much total busts, with the only “hit” being a holo Hoopa. Celebrations were a VERY different story…
1st pack: Immediately got hit with a Zekrom from the OG set, which is easily one of my faves and one of the pulls I was realllyyy hoping for. 2nd pack: BOOM OG Blastoise. Even better than Zard, imho.
Obviously, by the 3rd pack I thought for sure my luck had run out, but I still managed to pull a surfing pikachu V. Last pack… I was immediately hit with shiny gold mew and LOST it.
I’ve watched enough unboxings to know that this luck is CRAZY. A hit in all 4 packs, 3 of them being some of the hardest hitters is *insanity* and just doesn’t happen. I don’t understanddd 😂
Man, those are some incredible pulls! The crazy thing with collection boxes/tins/etc is that you can pull absolutely nothing or have a full loaded box. One of our best collection boxes was a Champion’s Path Dubwool V box that had Both Charizards and a Venusaur. Again, congrats on the pulls!!!

I guess booster boxes are probably the most consistent way of ensuring a certain ratio of pulls (not that we had that option with Celebrations or Hidden Fates, etc).
With tins, I'm definitely much more accustomed to pulling nothing as opposed to getting a god box 😂 It's also definitely better to go in with no expectations and get surprised, than end up disappointed, lol
This video inspired me to work on building this set, which cards did you use the perfect fits for and which did you use the dragon shield sleeves? This would be my first complete set so not sure which fits best for the cards
Nice! Glad you’re going to complete the set. I use Perfect Fits on all holo rares and lower rarity. All the Ultra Rares get the Dragon Shields and so does the whole Classic Set.

The Dragapult portfolio is 2x2 and fits all these cards perfectly, it will also fit into the Pokemon Center ETB with the Jumbo Card Portfolio. I didnt include the metal versiaions because i didnt consider the metal ones to be cards.

Beautiful master set. A lot of people are hating on the 25th anniversary set, but I love it!
I have a question about the perfect sleeves. Why do you prefer kmc perfect fit over dragon shield perfect fit?
It’s because we used the ETB sleeves at first for the Ultra Rares, but then switched to Dragon Shields after they started with the matte finish on the front. We just decided to keep using the KMC sleeves since we had them.
@@MrMewMan Makes sense. If you ever use up all your KMC sleeves try the Dragon Shield perfect fit ones. I think you will like them a little bit more. Keep up with the great videos.

First off love the video great job on completing the set and the set up of it 👍🏼 Second I have a question why not include the rest of the 13 cards that came out in the general mill set? My set is completed at 133 cards of course those extra 13 were the rest of Mills set so why not include them?

I think you should sort the base set by pokedex number (with the surfing and flying pikas at the end, before trainer and gold mew). That way you get each region's legendary grouped together. I don't have a 4 pocket binder on hand yet, but I plan on getting one for celebrations and sorting my cards in this way. Something to consider I hope :)

@@MrMewMan So I tried it out in a 9 pocket binder using only four on each page and I think it looks a lot better. the arts of each region's legendaries match with each other like with zacian/zamazenta, reshiram/zekrom, kyogre/groudon, etc. I feel like ordering them based on number takes away from the original artist's intentions with their designs
I like that idea. Especially since Lugia and Ho-Oh will be right next to each other so their Art can match up.
In my binder i also included one of each sealed pack. General mills. McDonalds. Celebrations
I though about including the other General Mills promos, but they didn’t have the 25th anniversary stamp so I left them in our promo binder.
when the kanto first partener pack comes out you should open all of the first patner packs and the jumbo binder to have the master set
I really like this idea. I checked the Pokémon Center and they had all first partner packs except Hoenn. I will be keeping an eye out for that one.

I don’t know if you would put this info out there but I think it would be interesting for you to break down how much you spent completing the set. How much sealed product you opened and if you bought any singles
We’re actually trying to put something together for Fusion Strike. I basically want to see exactly how many packs we opened in total and what our exact pull rates were.
For master sets do the cards have to be in good condition to count? If so what condition is the lowest for it to count in the master set?
I wouldn’t say so. Whatever condition you’re good with is good enough.
I’m sure this question has been asked before. I’m always interested in starting master sets but my main dislike with pack opening is you end up with so many spare cards and I just don’t want boxes full of spare cards taking up room in my house. What do you do with your spare cards? Like for me I could buy each card from ebay etc but where is the fun in that and it would be super expensive. If anyone has any thoughts let me know!
I trade all our bulk that we don’t use for decks into game stores. There are a couple great ones you could use if you don’t mind mailing them in. Full Grip Games and Untapped Games are just two of them for starters.
Do you include the rest of the celebration anniversary sets like Generations and other anniversary Pokémon
We don’t have any Generations cards in the same binder as Celebrations.

What are your thoughts on adding the rest of the general mills anniversary cards? They still count as 25th anniversary cards, and while they don't have the anniversary stamps neither do the metal UPC promos

What do you think is the most efficient way of getting boosters for this set?
I’d say the Collector’s Chest is pretty good. You get 6 Celebrations packs for $25 compared to an ETB where you get 10 Celebrations packs for $50

They were actually delayed until November 15th at most places (including my LGS). So, right now it might be a little difficult to find them. We got a preorder in from the Pokémon Center.

you should also open up the exsclusive celebrations boxes and the 8 mini tins and those 2 new non celebrations boxes before fusion strike comes out this is an idea not something you have to do
We actually couldn’t find any mini tins. If we found a set of them, we’d definitely open them up!

We are looking at two options. Either use two binders or use a bigger binder. Lol… Still going back and forth between the two.

Haha, yeah, there are bigger ones, but they are a different brand. A lot will also depend on how many exclusives there are because the other binder I’m looking at holds 504 cards so it would be close.
