Mine broke to. I have the broken part. It is far to thin of a plastic, it breaks so easy. Never had any presure on the part and ik snapped off. That pipe, did that have a sparepart nr on it?

There are numbers I show it in video and it should be on yours too but what I got from local iRobot representative was sorry no spare parts available.. just buy a new cleaning station. That's why I did this repair video.. try contacting your local iRobot service center maybe it is different in your country. If so let us know in the comments
That would be useful for a lot of People. If no because you have the part that broke off you can try to glue it where it broke off and do the whole repair as shown in video it's not easy but doable.. sadly not much room to improve its strength if you will leave the case unmodified. There is not much room but if you make a bigger hole there is space to make a thicker and stronger part..

@letsfixitgarage such a waste... perfectly replacable part. I'll try warranty first. Let's see what they have to say. Quality of the part is somewhat disappointing imho

Hi, how did you take it apart?

    • @letsfixitgarage

Video is of assembly so just follow it in reverse order.. not to difficult, a lot of screws so it's easy to take it apart.

The most difficult part of this is to find a donor station to make a mold... As well as time it takes for the whole process :))) I still have my mold, somewhere in the shop... if you are from europe you can send me your part for repair. Write me an email if it interests you..

@@letsfixitgarage That's very kind of you, unfortunately I am from the USA so shipping and VAT would make this an expensive venture. I'm going to look into a way to manually push it forward at each bag chnage.

Yes shipping could be expensive in this case.. you could try to force it manually with a flat screw driver and then insert something as a stop.. although I would take it apart and remove the spring in that case.. as if the stop would fall off spring would move the pipe away from the bag and you will use it without knowing it..

it is a little bit of an overkill :)) but it was fun to learn casting and because it was first time doing this type of repair wanted to show all the mistakes that happened in the process.. that's why it got far to long... And thanks for the praise it's far from jewelry accuracy but nice to hear it :))
