- Very beautiful Aurora / Northern Lights seen as far south as Rjukan - Telemark - Norway on Aug. 04, 2010 after a Solar Storm. This footage contains of 32 still-images put together in a Time-Lapse Video.

@ZachreyCA - I knew it was comming, so a couple of hours before it got dark, I prepared my gear (Canon EOS 5D MK2 + Canon EF 24mm f 1.4 USM + remote shutter, put the shutter-speed on 13 seconds and aperture on f /1.4. The set was mounted on a tripos - off course - facing N and NNE.
I checked several weather maps to see where in my area there was the least clouds and then I positioned myself and waited.

@Jubal24 - Fist image was taken 01:57h and the last at 02:04h = 7 min. It began earlier - but at that time, I had the camera in a more NNE position. Pls watch the full version of this footage. The Shutter speed was 13 seconds for each image.
