Sometimes I feel a lot of guilt for buying things because they although they would bring me happiness or convenience, they're not exactly necessary. It feels wasteful. But I was smiling throughout the video as I loved watching you enjoy the things you own. It was a good reminder that intention behind purchase matters, and we deserve good things. As long we consume mindfully, we deserve to have things in our lives that bring us joy. So thank you for that Kalyn :)

Same here! I just bought me an iPad so I can start doing digital art but I feel so guilty and lowkey want to return it 😭 feel like I should just stick with graphite drawing like I’ve always done since it’s cheaper

One thought I've heard recently changed my approach to shopping drastically. A person suggested to take all your money spending as investments in... your state and well-being. If it genuanly brings you joy, you buy. Not because you're bored or you have to cope with heavy emotions. This way, everything you buy just hits different.
The solar eclipse was definitely was favourite spring moment! How lucky were we to witness two twilights and two dawns during the same day! (obviously, now I'm thinking about the books lol)

My current Spring favorites: reading Wild Love by Elsie Silver, Bridgerton books and show, embroidering a pair of jean shorts, oracle readings with a nature themed deck, trying to identify wildflowers on walks, mint tea, planting herbs, sunbathing. My friends and I have been having a tea and tarot night every month!
LOVING this video today. Exactly what I think I needed to move the winter clothes out of my closet and bring back in the spring/summer things. And of course, go through my closet at the same time! Thank you!!
I've been such a big geek when it comes to sunscreens and one that I have REALLY enjoyed (after trying out MANY different ones, I really have been wanting to find one that is natural as possible) is Alga Maris "Creme Solar Teintee" from Laboratoires De Biarritz. It is SO good and natural. They also have many different other good sunscreens too, I just like this because of the tint, so I can use it instead of foundation often during the summer. It doesn't leave your face feel super sticky, if anything, I feel like it gives you a nice glow.
When I was pregnant with my son I craved cheese salad sandwiches with beetroot and salad cream but the cheese HAD to be grated. One day my husband made me one with sloppily sliced cheese. I still haven't forgiven him and our son is 25.😂
This reminds me of the saying “if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself” 😂
Just a little info its acutally not the right time to cleanse/charge crystals when the eclipse is happeing the light is literally and figuratively being covered by the dark ... allowing those dark energies to be at play. During this time it is a good time to stay indoors if possible and go within with meditation journaling etc. hope this helps.🙏🏼I dont know if you have ever watched the series Avatar ... soo good. In one episode the eclipse happens and this event weakens the energy of the light (sun). During this time energies can be very chaotic good to try to spend some time alone meditating in your happy place.🥰

Sunscreen recommendation here! :) Lots of korean sunscreens don't use heavy metals - Pyunkang Yul, Isntree, Beauty of Joseon- these are the ones I tried so far, like them in this order. BOJ is the heaviest, Isntree is the lightest, PY is midground and love that. Also none of these have fragrances. Hope you'd try one of them

Planting an unsolicited seed here … visit LUS brands for hair stuff and watch some “wavy hair care” routines where you scrunch while soaking wet with product … we have a similar hair texture, although your wave is tighter than mine in the back. I have been in South Florida for the last year and a half - talk about frizz control and natural texture enhancement. I am allergic to a lot of sunscreens and I don't know about the metals in it but I've been loving the la roche posay sunscreens. They're not greasy, don't break me out and the best part I don't have an allergic reaction to any I've tried from them. But as always loved this video :)

I’ve loved seeing your videos pop up more. Love the cactus mug so much, it reminds me of a pumpkin one I have for fall. Also, I love how intentional you are being to be present and take in this pregnancy. I’m regretful that I didn’t do that as much with my second one (also likely my last) since my focus was on trying to get as much one on one time with my first baby. It feels like a missed out. Lastly, that green shade top at the end of your video looks stunning on you!

My sister uses Babo sunscreen for herself and my 2 year old niece. She is big on staying away from harsh ingredients and being as clean as possible.
Sun Bum is a really good sunscreen, and it's cruelty free too! It also is mindful of the environment, cause it doesn't deep into the water when you go for a swim.

Sunscreen recommendation from a medi-spa aesthetician here! AlumierMD sunscreens are awesome! They are super clean, cruelty-free, and they use ingredient suppliers who make every effort to protect the environment. Some of their products do contain honey so they aren’t technically vegan but they are ~mostly~ plant-based :)
I love Alumier for both me and my 3 year old daughter.
And a pro-tip to put sunscreen on little ones: use a fluffy makeup brush to gently buff it on the skin, it’s a more pleasant feeling than rubbing for some kids. Happy Spring, Sunday Club! 🌈🌞💐🦋

The BEST sunscreen is hands down black girl sunscreen for kids! It’s spf50 and no white cast! It’s a mineral sunscreen and sooo hydrating. It’s also only like $10 for 3 ounces!

I really love the Kinship sunscreen. It works really well under makeup 😊
My favourite sunscreen of all time in the mineral MD solar science . Its expensive and I have to specially ship it from America but it's so fantastic. It's so creamy , no white cast as acts like a perfect primer with any make up over put over the top.
To try save money I'm now trying the mineral face sunscreen from sun bum and I was also very impressed with the texture.
(I'm from Australia) so we take our sunscreen needs VERY seriously haha

OMGOMGOMG I too bought that Rosemary oil, the same brand, but off Ali express. So far, not sure it works BUT I have not used it daily as it leaves your hair (obvi) oily. But it smells nice and I did notice a bit of hair growing here and there

You no know Kalyn, I have been a follower for long. I got really busy creating travel content for the past years and i stopped watching for a while when you’re having your first baby. I just find it interesting that even though I dont have my own family yet, we still share interests.. i mean ive been contemplating starting embroidery and crochet lately but im telling myself i dont need a new one. 😭✨

When the eclipse is happening it means literally an energetically the light is being covered by the dark allowing dark energies to be at play. This is not when we should be outside if possible nor when we should put our crystals outside to charge as those dark energies are at play. I dont know if you have seen Avatar the series ... if not soo goooood. but if you notice when the eclipse happens it weakens the energies of the light (sun)... the light being represented by the sun of course and light energy. During this time it is good to take some time to stay indoors and spend sometime going within meditating and journaling as energies can tend to be ver chaotic.. Hope this helps. 🙏🏼
I was thinking the same thing. I don't think any harm will come to those who have good intentions but it is good to know for the next time there is a (partial) sun or moon eclips. I've been studying Vedic astrology, which comes from the same roots as yoga philosophy you are interested in and can confirm the comment above. What owls say is also a big one in my house right now 🤣 Edit: I don't know if it's available in Canada but I love Sun Bum sunscreen. It is cruelty free and coral reef safe. I use it for myself and the baby one for my toddler. :)
