Yeah but those men didn't watch the people they're dating growing up, from what I hear Sam knew Taylor since he was in his early teens and started dating him as soon as he turned 18, I'm sorry but their situation is way more creepy.
Human beings are wired to care about two things in mating Health and survival. Men look for health in a partner because they needed a woman who could give birth without modern medicine, a young healthy woman who is less likely to have a miscarriage, less likely to die giving birth, less likely to die AFTER giving birth due to infection, blood loss or other complications. That why men look for younger women it's by design for procreation. Women however look for survival and protection in a mate are you capable of providing and protecting a gestating woman and for the family that comes afterwards. So when the ages are flipped we all realize it doesn't make any biological sense however humans can at times subvert there biological wiring although not commonly

It's not the age difference that's the problem!!! It's the fact he was actually 16 (not 18) when they got together. If they'd met now that would be fine. But if the genders were swapped, people would actually take notice that he was groomed. Weather he was 16 or 18 he wasn't old enough or experienced enough to enter into a relationship of that kind of maturity.

I think people should mind their own business. His wife is the total package…she’s got beauty and brains. At the end of the day, it’s their lives and they have both stated that they are happy. While yes, some aspects of their relationship seemed very unusual and shocking at first, it’s ultimately not our place to judge.
