Your hand deserves a special mention for its hard work in explaining the content for your viewers.
I’ve done this over two decades, I like watching others explain. You sir explained it very well, great job 👌🏼
Low pressure side is the large tubing, high pressure is small tubing
He did get them backwards. Good catch
Omgggg
Great info and well explained, I'm going to test my switches as my ac and compressor clutch stopped all of a sudden when the air was good and cold. There were no noises like I've heard from clutches going out, so I think maybe it's a switch because fuses and relays are testing good.
And finally, someone who cares enough about their car to keep the engine bay clean. Everyone else on YT are doing tutorials with dirtiest and nastiest engine bays on the planet, lol.
Great video… Explain a lot of questions I had about my AC… I replaced the switch and it works awesome now… Thank you
Great info, even better presentation and explanation. Thank you, sir.
Thanks
What obd app was that? I want to get a Bluetooth one that works the best with the most options.
2011 highlander new compressor condenser expansion valve flushed charged to correct amount no leaks the AC runs fine above 1500 rpm but compressor and fans stop below 1500 rpm n ac light flashes
How do you know what pressure sensor is the bad one? Low or high? I do not have a high end scanner but it did pick up a code (B1079) and most common fixes says "Replaced A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor" but doe snot tell me high or low? Any ideas? It is on a 2013 Lancer
Where would ac switch be located in 2014 S550 Mercedes Benz. Will a bad switch cause the fan to run at top speed? Thanks
I've done heating cooling work. This is the first I've heard of the low pressure switch on the small liquid line.
Me 2
My compressor is coming on. No short cycling but my ac lines don't even get cold. Full of correct amount of refrigerant.
That sounds like a blockage in your ac system. I'd start with the cheapest fix and replace the expansion valve and drier filter after recovering the Freon from your system and then recharge after replacing both the expansion valve and drier filter
@@shannonprice525 I got the expansion valve. Going to install it first and see if my levels change. My high and low side were staying equal even with my compressor engaged. Problem is my car takes an oddball compressor that's hard to get.
Actually before you do anything hook up the AC pressure gauge first (I used the Recovery machine). I’m in the same issue. I narrow it down to the Compressor Control Solenoid Valve. (Part is in transit).
@@A.Musa76 me too. I just replaced the compressor and the expansion valve. Working fine now. Mine takes a very rare compressor that was only used on a few hundred cars too. Found a used one.
@@earthisfat6184 That's great you got your A/C working. I got mine working over the weekend. It was the A/C compressor solenoid valve was the culprit for me.
Very concise and mechanic genius video for DIY, thank you.
Can a faulty switch cause Freon to leak out?
I have a 2002 BMW e46 330ci I can’t find ac pressure switch?
Great video 💪 Do You know where I Can switches in Mercedes ML320 2006 ?
Appreciate your video. My only symptom is the display showing the ambient air temp is lower than it really is. Are there any other reasons that would cause it that’s not in the video ?
on mine the low high switch ground out and was blowing the fuse like blow now
My friend spend hundreds to replace compressor, change all seal condenser, on a 2019 hyundai kona and still no ac ,it uses 1234yf freon ,I'm thinking pressure switch or computer command wire,I scanned the system with autel 908spro no code ,al 3 fuses are good ,I command the relay on with key on engine off and the clutch clicks with engine running try to command relay on fails
I need help locating the AC pressure Switch on a 2011 GMC terrain 4 cylinder. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
There would be two pressure switches, a low pressure switch (on the fat pipes) and a high pressure switch (on the skinny tubes).
I have a 08 dodge avenger and I can't find my ac pressure switch

Hi, please confirm that the low and high pressure lines are identified correctly in the video.
I'm pretty sure the high pressure line has the smaller diameter, and the low pressure line is fatter. The service port caps should be labelled L and H to identify clearly.
High pressure connection is larger on mine but line is smaller
Just watch the hand.
Hi guys where is that ac pressured switch located on a passat B8 TDi...?
I cannot find nothing on the Internet
Also on passat B8 is tgere a low pressure switch and a hight pressure switch or just 1 switch . I found 1 switch near the fuel filter but I am nir certain that is the one. ( coukd it be the fuel switch..😂)
Thank you
Hello I’ve replaced my ac compressor, my condenser, also the expansion valve and I’m still having trouble with my ac. It blows really cold then cuts out. I’m leaning toward the ac pressure switch any ideas what it could be? 🙏
Does it work intermittently? Like when you first start your car it works then just shuts off.
@@niftysinyes
@@wdchaconpereira definitely sounds like your pressure switch. What vehicle do you have
This definitely sounded like the pressure switch.
Could be a pressure switch or could also be a clogged system or even a bad ac filter/drier
Hi just asking for help with my aircon it has been to 2 aircon guys a new compressor put in and still wont work properly. At around 29 degrees the air flow cuts in half and so does the cold air , I have to turn it off and put on the through air on 4 fan speed and then the air speed comes back after 10 seconds I then put the aircon back on works fine again for about 5 minutes then it all happens again ....can someone help me please.
Wow mine does exactly the same thing , no idea why it's all been leak checked and refilled compressor is ok drive belt renewed,
HI THE TRUCK 80% BLOW HOT AIR SO I REPLACE THE AC COMPRESSOR EXPNSEN VALVE AND ALSO THE PRESSORE SENSER , VACUM THE SYSTME AND RECHARGE THE FREON , BUT THA AC COMPRESSOR KEEP ON AND OFF FOR A MINUTE , DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOING ONG WITH SHIS AC SYSTEM
What about evaporator ??
When you turn AC on, look behind your “radiators” and see if the fans start running. (While car is running and on idle)
Does a 2017 toyota Yaris ia only have one switch? I cant find any information on this and I only see one.
It could just have one. The low pressure switch usually cycles the compressor on and off but it's on the big line not the small.
There is two. The other switch is located inside your dash where the evaporator is located behind the firewall
Ac ac sensor on 2020 Chevy malibu???? Location???
My ac blows fuses every time i turn it on is that a pressure switch
If it's blowing fuses every time your ac cuts on, that's a bad ac compressor. The ac clutch is causing the issue and cuts it off.
Where's my switch on my 2019 Chevy Impala at
Overkill with the hand gestures 😆
The AC system must be emty before the swith must be replemended
Only on vehicles with no check valve. I've replaced plenty of AC switches and as long as it had a check valve, I've replaced the switch without having to recover the Freon from the system
Can u bypass it
That wouldn't be a good idea, TBH😉
Hands pissed me off. Couldn't finish the vid
You have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), which means that he isn't pissing you off, but rather you are pissing yourself off.
Who gives a shit about his hand.
Listen to what you can learn from him
