Jinjer is the best metal band out today. They are ridiculously talented at every position, and they truly don't have a bad song to their name. Continue down the rabbit hole and you will absolutely fall in love with this band. There is nobody like them!

Background how this song came to be.
Tatiana Shmailyuk, lead singer Jinjer, wrote this scathing number about religious hypocrites after a good friend - a fellow musician and Pisces - accused her of being immoral. The so-called friend took offense when Tatiana Shmailyuk posed in lingerie on Instagram to promote a woman's small business. After receiving some perverted comments, the singer removed the post but, little did she know, the damage was done.
"My friend, who I won't name, started dwelling on this behind my back on all her social media. She did streams and posted it on Twitter, saying, 'You don't have to do that. You're not bad as a singer, so you don't have to show your body to have success.' And then she blocked me from her social media!" she recalled in a 2022 Songfacts interview.
"So that's the song about her. She tried to teach me morality without even knowing the reason why I put those things out - because I wanted to help a person promote her products, not to gain attention or popularity. So, long story short, this is for bitches like her."

    Favourite Jinjer song?
    Teacher Teacher.
    ...wait, maybe Wallflower...
    ...or Pit of Consciousness...
    ...or Vortex...
...or Home Back, Perennial, Retrospection, Judgemen & Punishment, Who is Gonna Be the One, Pisces, Bad Water, On the Top, lainnereP, the list goes on.
They are just all too good: even the songs that don't resonate as much with me on a personal level blow me away on every listen.

I am glad that you are enjoying your Jinjer adventure. I have been following Jinjer for 6 years now and I am still excited about the band and Tatiana, all their song are great and distinctly different. It is hard to find a favorite. I would that Tati’s live performance of their Who is going to be the one. Any of their live performances where they have a good sound system out shine their videos, which is hard because their videos are very good. Wall flower is one of their most epic videos.

"Don't be scared of the change!" I like it! And I like your reaction to Jinjer! Excellent ears--you hear stuff others miss.
I just did a quick dive through your videos, and you seem to have a knack for grabbing onto the essence of a song in a pretty quick take, without a lot of pausing and rewinding. I'm not opposed to skillful pausing and rewinding, but you squeeze a lot of insight into a small space. Good work!
I'm mostly around for the Jinjer lol. To me they are the most exciting band around these days. For too long I got locked into old dinosaur bands like Metallica. When I discovered Jinjer in late 2022 it sparked a revolution in my rotation habits. Now I'm into djent and metalcore and progressive melodic metal (among many other things).

One thing ive. Noticed its they like to use silences in a lot of their songs, appart from their dinamic range the use use silences is underrated in metal, it makes the harsh and intense parts shine even more, like it does in "i speak astronomy". Opeth used silences too specially in early allbums and it worked great to set the atmosphere
