April Koh and Sam Bernstein press pause on their busy days as entrepreneurs to reflect on high-stakes phases for the companies they each founded at a young age. For Koh, that includes recently becoming the youngest woman to lead a multi-billion-dollar company following the latest round of funding for Spring Health, the behavioral health startup she co-founded. For Bernstein, that centers around Table22, which partners with restaurants to create new revenue streams through subscription kits. Their coffee-and-conversation moment reveals a new style of leadership that prioritizes openness and vulnerability and underscores the need to step away and recharge.

First thing he does when they shake hands is he crosses his arms immediately. That’s one of the worse things you can do. You want to be open and inviting. Not appearing closes off as he did.

I have heard that a lot from body language experts, and that is why I try to not do that when in an important dialogue with people! But do you think it's subjective and needs to be updated? From a personal perspective, I feel more confident and focused on hearing what the other person has to say when I cross my arms, and have never thought of it as a trait that showcases I am not willing to accept your end of the conversation! Just a thought 💭

Worker pay has only went up 18% since 1970 but ceo pay has went up 1300% since that same time period. CEO should be giving part of their pay to their workers and not using it to cash out on shares in a company to increase their wealth.

The problem with your argument is that you assume the work load is same, the responsibilities is the same, the risk is the same, work experience is same but in reality there is drastic difference and so is the pay.

"confident, successful people talk about vulnerabilty as if their take is representative of typical humans". I can think of lots of emotionally vulnerable situations these types of people spend their entire lives avoiding and running from, in their personal lives and in the workplace and their interactions with those beneath them :) video premise is 100% flawed.

This conversation could have been much more in-depth hence useful but it wasn't. Just two entrepreneurs bragging about their journey. I wouldn't say it's their fault but it's the fault of the show creator and writers that they chose to waste this opportunity of 7.50 min by giving us futile self-promotion of a conversation.

Just do something that will earn you money while you sleep, no matter how little. A pandemic is the perfect way to open your eyes to really see what life could be like without your usual income stream and everyone had to stay home. Well I never felt it because I invested in a trading company where I earn 4 digits per week. The best thing you can do for yourself is invest more and spend less
