I don't think she was pissed off, she was just trying to assure Rowling that nobody could read her handwriting from that distance, which is fair enough.
Hm, nah I think the interviewer is a little bit inconsiderate to tell her there is nothing to worry about when Rowling is clearly worried and that for a good reason. There actually is a risk somebody can read it, especially when the camera man decides to zoom in on it.
As a fellow creative, I recognise that look that the interviewer is giving J.K. Rowling, its that "Shall we call the special doctor now or wait until we are safely back in the taxi"? Never does a creative person feel more naked than when they are trying to explain the creative process to a 'normal' person! 😂 Thank you for sharing this
Haha, exactly. It's as if, if they don't understand what you're patiently trying to tell them, you're not explaining it well enough. Pointless to explain to 'normals'.
"Well no one can read that. I dont think anybody can see."Woooooow, yes she is rude. This is JK's life work n she doesn't want readers to see it before its completed. That lady is a jerk.
@@teeriaprather443 How is she a jerk? Rowling said she didn't want people to read the work, and Stahl assured her no one could see it, allowing the interview to proceed. Calm down.
Yep but even she doesnt knew how harry gets Information sometimes. But she defibatly unterstellst how Well she Plots. She Plots so Well that ahe has multiple roats to choice for harry to get the i fo he nedds to progress . That lead to some ghost Plots but These ghost Plots alao dont Fell unnecesary but like added worldbuilding. Thats why she didnt apart from writing the Books as we knew them until 1995 when she had the full plot of all 7 books. Each Book Has on its own a 12 Page summery . FB has only a 12 Page one as it she basicly only had to search out old notes she had. Her World is so Well thought out scraped content is tecnicly still canon. Nagini was suposed to be a cursed women since her Intention when she wrote GoF ( she always wantet Voldemort to have a snake but only when she in enter the anake did she start thinking of her as a cursed wowen ) she cut the reveaö becaus Naginis death was unavoidable. Hell she had the idea for cursed child around GoF mostlikely. She never intended to write that though or if so only briefly. The plot of cursed childis great in my opinion. Its the Dialoge that doesnt fit her work. Its clear she didntvwrite the Script ( and was i asume not Happy with that) butbthe Plot was hers. It had all the worldbuilding explanations etc she builds in and honestlyit makes sense that the Wizards would Explorer Time travel again after the destruction. And that Hermionie would be enger to use it after the Issues with it had Bern fixed made sense too as ahe wantet it for knewledge. Anyway my point is she unterstellst herself
I would love JKR to release these notes she made in (a) book(s) so we could really see how she did it. Or if she would write an auto. She's fascinating.
Her core concepts are based around events to happen to characters in a timeframe , gives macro to dive into for each (and used constraint of 7 books and and end to develop towards)
Nobody can see girl don’t worry about it nobody can forget it not even I can see and I have low vision OK I have a terrible vision if someone who has low vision can’t see it then nobody else can who has really good vision
"We can't get in too close on this."
*Cameraman zooms in*
The person interviewing just seemed really pissed that Rowling wanted to hide what she had written!

The interviewer is acting like Rita Skeeter honestly!
Yes
Hahaha maybe this is where she got the inspiration then?😂
I don't think she is. All she said was that nobody could read Rowling's writing from that space, which is true.
Yessssssss quiennnn
Yea the vibes
"Yeeeah, nobody can seeee..." *gets a lengthy eyeful before she pulls it away*

the interviewer is like - stop being so paranoid
Who is the interviewee? She's extremely rude!
Interviewee is JK Interviewer is Lesley Stahl

How is she rude? I could not read what Rowling has written, so she was correct.

Künstlerin-DAB1995 its just the way she said it. J.k Rowling even laughed but the interviewer was so dismissive and kept a straight face.
Interesting how heavily she plans / plots before she writes. It's not spontaneous, it is heavily structured.
7 books of increasing length with minimal structure would be a complete disaster.

I don't like the interviewer😶
She's just cranky from all the sexual tension. Hopefully they worked that out later.
She's 'Murican
She's extremely rude, Joe just tried to hide what she was doing
Come on people the interviewer is just Rita Skeeter in the muggle world
The interviewer was right, though the camera should have remained further back. A nice glimpse. I always love seeing writing notebooks.
You can clearly see and hear what she actually mean by saying “I don’t think they can see from that far away” so rude..

Why they presented this interview if J.K don't like to speak about her writing methodology I don't know strange behavior
I don't think she had any problem discussing her writing process; she just didn't want to show all of her notes.
JK was always a little too paranoid about spoilers. The interviewer was mean, but at the same time she was right. No one could’ve read that shit.
But JK couldn't tell how closely the camera was zooming in. There was no way for her to know.
Yes they could. The camera man could have zoomed in after editing
