What is very surprising as a Korean is that they use a mix of official and informal language when they speak. (8:18 11:02 18:59 37:46 39:53 40:10 47:42 50:48 51:38) Although it is hard to see when translated into English. Suga doesn't usually talk informal even to younger people, which is very rare. Korean fans were very surprised because their conversation was closer than we knew.

I'm not korean but I did notice it and couldn't figure out whether they were actually speaking informally or formally cause they kept mixing it lol, also here 11:02 it seemed like 'why didn't you call me?' was informal. It seems to me that Suga's very comfortable and friends with her!
You guys, you know how BTS went from nobody to legends and that's what I think IU and BTS primarily have as something similar. You'll be surprised at IU's story and everything she had to go through before she became the IU we know now. Both IU and BTS are perfect manifestations of success stories. They both had devastating experiences in the past. Their growth in the music industry is truly inspiring. Love your reaction, by the way.
IU and Yoongi being the same age definitely shows the dynamic of same age friends. In addition to this being their second collab, Yoongi has worked with other close friends of IU as well. It was even rumored that the two of them were dating at one point because that's how close they are. They're not dating, IU has a boyfriend but their closeness definitely made people think that. It's nice to see two artists really comfortable with each other.
The fact that IU was known before BTS' Debut and they have been fans of her since a long time, You can even find some clips of baby bts during award shows when IU was performing , and it's really cute to watch the members in her show. I hope she brings the rest too .
Btw, at the end, the part where Yoongi asked if non-fans would listen, IU said “of course”, she said it informally and then switched to formal 😭
They’re literally besties haha they’re the same age so it makes sense that they’re comfortable and they’ve known each other for a long time. Also IU would sometime slip up with her informal way of talking then correct herself haha they’re soo cute. Also Yoongi kept teasing her throughout is funny.

I've been an Uaena and Army for so long and I still can't get used to them appearing together on one show😂 My heart flutters everytime I get a notification for IU's palette. I adore them so much and it was so nice listening to two musicians talk about their art. omg thank you for posting this here on CZcams! IU is one of the top Korean artists that I really admire aside from BTS so I absolutely recommend you to listen to her music even in your free time. I just feel like you two would like her style and HER VOICE!! I recommend some of her famous songs like Palette, Bbibbi or Blueming but my favorites are Through the Night, Lilac and Ending Scene. Her voice is so beautiful and she's is very very talented, even as an actress. If you are looking for some Kdramas to watch, I also would recommend some of IU's like Scarlet Heart and My Mister. 😊😊😊
IU herself said ''eight'' was about the hardships and all at 28. But most of us think of the lyrics and MV being about her losing three close friends (Jonghyun from SHINee in 2017,Sulli an ex member of f(x) in 2019 and Goo Hara from Kara,also in 2019,only a month after Sulli). They all passed away due to s*icide and also IU learned about Hara passing while she was having a concert and she had a hard time singing after getting the news,so her fans sang for her. Jonghyun passing was a shock to everyone back then,i still have a hard time listening to his solo songs. Sulli and Hara,sadly,were harshly cyberbullied for no reason. Sulli and Hara were best friends and when Sulli passed,Hara did a live,crying,and saying she will do her best to live for her best friend but sadly she passed one month later. They all were pretty young,Jonghyun was 27,Sulli 25 and Hara 28. Hoepfully,they are all resting in peace.

I think it is and more, the artists would not say so as it would be too personal and specific. One of the strongest appeal and relevance of the song, besides its musicality, is both its specificity and its openness to interpretations.
No but I've been a suga biased and IU fan for 8 years now and this is the first time I'm seeing Yoongi so talkative and teasing someone outside BTS . The fact that he was also addressing her informally at the end was also interesting. They're definitely buddies and I'm sooooo happy. I just admire both of their journeys so much♡

I love how deep and interesting are IU's palette questions! It was great and we finally got to see them perform together. Eight live is everything and People Pt.2 was SO good live too... and People live made me cried 😭 Idkw, I guess I felt his emotions through his voice. I love the lyrics of this song so much and it has also helped me when I went through hard times.
It makes me emotional see how much has Yoongi grown as a person and as an artist. 😭 I truly hope his days are full of love and happiness because he deserves it. 💜

IU definitely know how to make guest comfortable. She is playful, kind and generous person i ever know. The way she bring out yoongi out of his shell and try to promote every song of album is commendable. Also this version of eight is something else. Soft, light and angelic vocals of IU and a newly updated version of suga brought new colours to it. Right to say Suga has improved a lot.

Both IU and Suga are great songwriters. I loved them both for how they write their lyrics. Very authentic and deep. One song that stood out for me from Suga was the song Piano which he performed during a BTS concert.

To me, Agust D music is "Easy to listen to" music because it is honest and raw. I agree with Suga, the endless songs about a bad break up or falling in love *cough Taylor Swift cough* is cringe. That isn't his story right now, but it could change once he settles down. Suga loves rap too much to completely turn Agust D off, i think his subjects and melodies will change, but his style of rapping and the emotion he provides in each song will continue.
