Love the Blessed Mother! Never, ever let go of her guiding hand that will lead us to Jesus. Pray as never before - especially the Rosary (daily) for her intentions.

"Hated by Christ" . Christ taught us not to hate anyone, and even went as far as to command us to love our enemies. Yet the church, according to this video, states that Christ will hate and brutally torture the vast majority of everyone who has ever lived. Astounding.

"Destroy both body and soul" should never be used to defend an eternal Hell. Let annihilationists have that one.

    • @catherine1886
      @catherine1886 Před 6 měsíci

Death of soul doesn’t mean annihilating the soul or that the soul no longer continues to exist. The damned existence without God leaves the soul to only its vices as all goodness and virtues are a gift from God.

ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II: : “Eternal damnation remains a possibility, but we are not granted, without special divine revelation, the knowledge of whether or which human beings are effectively involved in it. The thought of hell and even less the improper use of biblical images must not create anxiety or despair... The concept of hellfire, the fiery furnace and the unquenchable fire of Gehenna need to be interpreted as symbolic language... The risen Jesus has conquered Satan, giving us the Spirit of God who makes us cry, ‘Abba, Father!’” (Rm 8:15; Gal 5:6).

Is there a "fiery hell", as a place of eternal torment for the wicked that Satan and his demons "runs", as the churches of Christendom teach ? First consider what the word "hell" meant in 1611 C.E. when the King James Bible was originally published: "Old English hel(l) . Ultimately from an Indo-European word meaning “to conceal,” which is also the ancestor of English conceal, occult, eucalyptus, and apocalypse".(Microsoft Encarta Reference Library 2005)
The Online Etymology Dictionary says of "hell": "Literally "concealed place" (compare Old Norse hellir "cave, cavern"), from PIE root *kel- (1) "to cover, conceal, save.......*kel- (1) Proto-Indo-European root meaning "to cover, conceal, save", which also is the source of English Hell."
So, when the King James Bible was published in 1611 C.E., as well as the Catholic Douay Version in 1582, C.E., the word "hell" did NOT mean to torment or roast someone, but rather "to conceal" something, such as when "helling potatoes", that meant NOT to roast them, but place them as in a cellar below ground, in a COOL place.
So, perhaps this will help a sincere person to grasp Jonah 2:2, that reads according to the King James Bible: "And said, I (Jonah) cried by reason of mine affliction unto the Lord, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell ("hell" Hebrew sheol, meaning "concealed or unseen") cried I, and thou heardest my voice."
Where was Jonah when he said that "out of the belly of hell cried I " In a place of fiery torment ? No. Rather, he was inside the belly of huge fish, being "concealed" inside. At Acts 2:27, 31, the King James Bible reads of Peter telling the Jews about Jesus, quoting Psalms 16:10:
"Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell ("hell", Greek hades, meaning the same as the Hebrew sheol), neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption........He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption."
Where was Jesus when in "hell" after his death on a stake ? In a place of fiery torment ? No. Rather, Jesus was "concealed" in the grave, dead, awaiting a resurrection by God, as Acts 2:32 states according to the King James Bible: "This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses."
So, where did the distorted meaning of "hell" come from ? From the mistranslation or misunderstanding of the Hebrew word sheol, that is rendered as "the grave" as well as "hell" as well as "pit" by the King James Bible and three Greek words rendered as "hell" in the King James Bible (1) gehenna at Matthew 5:22, 29, 30; 10:28; 18:9; 23:15, 33; Mark 9:43, 45, 47; Luke 12:5; James 3:6 (2), tartarus at 2 Peter 2:4, and (3) hades at Matthew 11:23; 16:18; Luke 10:15; 16:23; Acts 2:27, 31; Revelation 1:18; 6:8; 20:13, 14.
To further help a sincere person to grasp what gehenna ("hell", "hell fire", King James Bible, Catholic Douay Version) is, all a person has to do is CAREFULLY read Matthew 10:28, that reads according to the King James Bible: "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to DESTROY both soul and body in hell (Greek gehenna)."
What did Jesus say happens to those who go to "hell" at Matthew 10:28 ? NOT torment, but "destroyed", for Jesus used the Greek word apollumi, that means "to destroy fully", in conjunction with the Greek word gehenna at the end that means, NOT eternal torment, but everlasting destruction.
At Revelation 20:13, 14, the King James Bible reads: "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and HELL (Greek, hades, meaning "the grave") DELIVERED UP the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."
Here, at Revelation 20:13, what does it say about "hell" ? NOT torment, but that its "prisoners" are "delivered up" or freed of being its captives, for the Greek word hades means the grave, that will be emptied of ALL those who are there.(see John 5:28)
And what is "the lake of fire" ? The same meaning as gehenna that Jesus used, of everlasting destruction, "the second death", "the everlasting fire" (Matt 18:8; 25:41) "the fire that cannot be put out" (Mark 9:43), from which there is NO resurrection.
At Psalms 115:17, it says: "The dead do not praise Jah (shorten form of Jehovah, God's name, see Isa 12:2, KJV); Nor do any who go down into the silence of death (and NOT screaming in eternal torments)."(New World Translation; Note this scripture is found in the Catholic Douay Version at Ps 113:17, but reads inaccurately as "hell" instead of "the silence of death", for the Hebrew word duwmah is there that means "silence; figuratively death")
At Job 14:13, the Catholic Douay Version reads: "Who will grant me this, that thou mayst PROTECT me in HELL (Hebrew sheol, the grave), and hide me till thy wrath pass, and appoint me a time when thou wilt remember me?" So, Job knew that he would be "protected in hell", and NOT tormented, being "concealed" in the grave when he died, and awaiting a resurrection from the dead, as verses 14 and 15 shows.
So, the belief in the doctrine of "hell" as a place of "eternal torments for the wicked", along with the teaching of purgatory, that is dependent on the doctrine of the immortality of the soul, are all false.(see Gen 2:7; Deut 12:20; Lev 23:30; Jer 2:34; Acts 3:23, KJV; Catholic Douay Version)

She died last year at 89, and refused to talk about Jesus for years before passing. Refused a funeral. I pray for her still.

Our Lord Himself made Hell's reality very clear.
Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who has done the will of My Father who is in Heaven. On that Day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast out demons in Your name, and in Your name do many good works?' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you. Depart from Me, you that work iniquity!'" (Matthew 7:21-23)
Jesus said, "Then He will say to those at His left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels! For I was hungry and you gave Me no food, I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and did not you visit Me, I was in prison and did not you come to Me.'" (Matthew 25:41-43)
