    The first groove is my favorite. I like how the talking drum/tom hits contrast with the syncopated kick hits at the end of the phrase.

    SURULERE!!!! You have to be smart to internalize that the kick is actually on 3&4. Actually very complex.

      Very tricky indeed. A point of correction from what I said in the video - the kick is actually on beats 2 & 3 and not 3 & 4 as said in the video.
