Damn the 85 bears were one of the more dominant teams in history. Their 1986 squad was arguably better. Everyone was shocked at the Skins beating them. Pretty much stopped a dynasty.
Only improvement in ‘86 was allowing 11 pts less total (not big in my opinion esp when u avg it out), margin of victory went significantly down as they were in much more close games
In 1986 the Washington redskins were the second best team in the NFL. Unfortunately the first best team was the New York giants who would be 3-0 vs Redskins including the playoffs, thus the 1986 Redskins didn't even go to the Superbowl.
