It typically happens when the person is breaking through so hard, they can't even listen to their own voice and lose total awareness of their surroundings and just go with it, even if what they do could be observed as embarrassing by the rest they just can't notice and keep on going. It helps them to release whatever they have being carrying for a while now.

In between rounds a couple dudes started arguing, which progressed into them making chimp noises & then within 10 seconds the entire lobby broke out into chimpanzee screaming noises so loud and intense that it felt as if I was listening to a scene in a movie. Im impressed that he was able to continue to interact with the game. I've dabbled in LSD and mushrooms and everytime it removes my ability to immerse myself in video games. I start looking at the frame of my TV or monitor and become brutally aware of just how much of my life i am spending engaging in activities that i don't even leave me fulfilled. Im impressed that he was able to continue to interact with the game. I've dabbled in LSD and mushrooms and everytime it removes my ability to immerse myself in video games. I start looking at the frame of my TV or monitor and become brutally aware of just how much of my life i am spending engaging in activities that i don't even leave me fulfilled. Then i start looking at my life around me, trash everywhere then i start to think about my interactions with others and realize I'm kind of an asshole which overwhelmes me with guilt.
I could go on. I've learned that being sober is the trip and i prefer the illusion of sobriety over the raw reality which gets brutally revealed when engaging in psychedelics.
